Having gone to chelmsford we looked at several Greeks and mistakenly chose Zorba as it was near bus station and easy to get home, service was attentive but the place was freezing and only one of the air con heaters was on we moved and she did try to direct heater onto us but we ended up putting our padded coats back on like the table next to us, the mixed grill was ok slightly over cooked and the rice and meatballs Luke warm we didnāt say anything as rice was under the meat and any more heating would have dried it out salad was basic salad no feta ,as our fingers were getting cold we ate half and asked to take home the other half , Such a shame tho could have been. In house Greek wine was sensible priced and decent quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful with choosing wine, as well impeccable service.
It would be good if they could dim the lighting slightly so we didnāt feel like under spotlights and was cold (visited December)

The area is restricted due to the space available. But this does not in anyway distract from the service or quality and presentation of the food. Personally I cant ever remember enjoying a restaurant meal as much. After eating here, I don't want to try anywhere else in Chelmsford.
