NOT GREEK.
I decided to try this new local "Greek" restaurant but unfortunately, it is far from Greek cuisine. I decided to order starters first and then see how big the portions were, before ordering more (as usually Greek people are generous with their portions); the waitress was rude and made me feel guilty for only ordering starters to begin with, although I also stated my reason.
I ordered pita with Taramasalata and other typical dips, however the pita and the dips were clearly bought at the supermarket and they must have heated up the pita and put it on a plate. The olives I ordered were nice but when the waitress walked towards me and my friend, she accidentally (I hope) got the olives and the liquid all over my white skirt. My friend and I tried to help clean up the table as well but she didn't seem too bothered and simply said "sorry" and walked away. At that point, we decided to give the place another chance and order the meat platter (Mix Grill for 2) but unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The platter contained German sausages, chips and the rest of the meat must have been bought from Tesco's. As a main for 2 people, it was quite a small portion and we never got offered anything to make up for ruining my white skirt.
I decided to ask for the bill and only then, the waitress smiled at me. When I looked at the bill, I nearly had a heart attack! Not only, we didn't even get a small discount or a gesture of kindness, they also charged us for asking for extra pita, as there wasn't enough.
The restaurant had Greek decorations but the atmosphere wasn't welcoming at all.
The food wasn't homemade.

We kicked things off with mezze heaven—all the delicious mezzes disappeared in minutes. The grilled halloumi was perfectly golden, and the greek salad? To die for!
For mains, the lamb chops was a standout—succulent, flavour-packed, and served with fluffy rice and vegetables. Every bite transported us straight to the Aegean coast!
The night wouldn’t be complete without dessert, and the chocolate cake did not disappoint. Pure indulgence!

Read moreI’d been wanting to try this place after seeing the good reviews, and I wasn’t disappointed! We went mid week and enjoyed the delicious meat plates (mixed kebab for my dad, chicken gyros for me). The flavours were so delicious, I’m hungry just thinking about them again! The waitress was very friendly and the decoration was beautiful. We did notice the food took a little while to arrive considering they were very quiet, however it was worth the wait. I can’t wait to come back another day when I have more time to enjoy a glass of wine and some of their...
