KFC Chelmsford Moulsham Street — Restaurant in Chelmsford

Ordered food twice from here and that will be the last! First time was a walk in ordered food all the staff behind the counter do not understand and speak English very well, secondly half of the items on the menu were out of stock which is not good at all. Then when I finally got my order drove home and served the family with the food 5 items were missing. The chicken wasn’t properly cooked chips were stale like they had been sat there for a while. Most of it went in the bin.

Second order was done Via Uber Eats once again the chicken was undercooked the pieces of chicken the bones were broken and some of the chips again uncooked potatoes were raw. The quality and cleanliness of this KFC IS ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! When you complain to the staff they start talking to each other in a different language. The food went in the bin and we re-ordered this time on just eat from POPEYES in Chelmsford and the food was amazing.

I strongly advise not ordering from this KFC branch in Chelmsford the others are ok.

And someone from the KFC Headoffice needs come and have a look or send a mystery shopper in and that will be an eye opener the staff are very unhygienic rubbing their body parts and not washing their hands. I need to stop here or I could carry on all day.

I waited over 20 minutes to collect a delivery as staff were prioritising walk-in orders over deliveries with both staff at the counter just packing walk-in orders. After I delivered it, the customer phoned me and said there were items missing. I am not allowed to open the sealed bag to check for missing items, and it is reasons like this why customers leave the delivery driver a negative thumbs down rating, which can result in the delivery account being terminated for a reason that is beyond my control. While I waited for the order another customer also returned an order which was incorrect and required two staff to resolve, which further delayed getting any deliveries out. Staff are not using the screens to check items off the order as they pack them, and are instead trying to pack them using the receipts and getting overwhelmed, getting orders out slowly and getting orders wrong and missing items. The manager should be getting staff to mark items as they pack them, using the screens like they do in all the other stores. Especially a small store like this one. In addition the manager should get one staff to pack walk-ins and the other staff at the counter to pack deliveries, as the drivers do not get paid any extra waiting time while waiting...

This was a true travesty, I'll paint the picture, me and my friends walk into this small kfc shop, opened not too long ago, we had high hopes how did my hubris get a hold of me, I orders the gravey chicken box thing for 5 quid, worst 5 quid I spent, my first mistake was to assume that the student discount that would work in any other kfc would work here how stupid I was not, my seccond mistake was to expect our food in under a hour what was I expecting, my third mistake was to expect to not be crushed in the kfc mind you this is a relitively small restaurant however we were working under the assumption that we would get the food within a reasonable time so it wouldn't fill up with people the workers were lacking Gloves and other basic hygiene standards aswell as the staff not handing out the right food and forgetting to do my friends food untill he reminded them alfter an hour twice if big kfc is reading this then ide highly suggest closing this restaurant as the food here wasent even that good it made other kfcs that ive visited seem like a 5 star Gordon ramsay restaurant this is a tarnish to the kfc name, this kfc is prove that there is no god in this world cos if there was this place would be smited hope you...
