Loved the ambience in my son's local pub . Very relaxing atmosphere, lots of space so could sit on comfy sofas inside without being jostled. Lovely outside area too. Only downside was that although my husband and son are drinkers, after a drink or two I prefer a coffee, however despite this being a good sized pub coffee wasn't available, which I found disappointing. Ok, so there is a lot to like about this pub. It was our place to go for many years. The staff are brilliant the Guinness is great and the crowd that go there are really friendly. But I really don’t like the TV screens they have up. Fair enough if there’s sport on but I just been in there and they had ‘Strictly it takes two’ on, with the sound off. What’s the point of that? . I go out to get away from that...
