Food is super nice. Service staff very polite & friendly. 3 stars given due to the standard of waiting staff cleanliness on our table. During our courses, the tablecloth hadn't been cleaned in-between courses. Of course there'll be spillage & crumbs etc however, they hadn't cleaned the table before the arrival of the next course. Throughout our +1 hour dining experience, we had to try & enjoy our night surrounded by expected & normal dining mess on tablecloth. Once finished we were talking with a glass of wine etc & out of the blue got interrupted by one of the waiting staff who started to clear up the table mess by picking up the tablecloth removing our belongings during that process. Interrupted our conversation for a couple of minutes. The gripe from our experience was the service surcharge added. The service in regards to table cleanliness wasn't worth the charge. That should have been taken off. Our fault. We should have requested & pointed out our concerns of why. In addition, when I sat down at our table, we weren't given any prawn crackers & yet whilst we waited to be served, we noticed other tables as they sat down, they were given the complimentary prawn crackers upon arrival of their table. Also, parking was dire! Saturday night 8.30pm & 2 weeks...

We have dined in at Zenxi's a few times and been happy with the food and service; though a bit on the expensive side, we have been happy to pay for it.

We decided to order takeaway (collection) as we wanted good quality.

We ordered about £80 worth of food and my wife collected it. When we opened the tuppaware boy were we disappointed. The half size containers were half full, we felt cheated because we have eaten there before and you get what you pay for, in this instance it feels as though they deliberately give you less than you paid for knowing you will only discover it after you arrive home. We called them straight away to let them know and to provide feedback. They responded saying because it was 10% off online, that's why they give you less food!!! If you go to the shops and an item has been discounted they don't give you less or half... You would think they are discounting it due to no admin or service. They didn't really care and said we should call them back the next day.

OK to dine in, even though expensive, but if you get takeaway from there expect to get much less food than anticipated...
