Starbucks — Restaurant in Cherwell District

Appalling customer service - slow and rude - visited 3 times now and each time makes me want to come back less.

Women behind the counter were too busy chatting about "how they liked [theirs] to be cremated, literally like ash" to come and serve us, the only customers in the store, with no cars in the drive through. (No idea what they were talking about, but very inappropriate and slightly upsetting having recently lost a close family member).

Watched another customer being looked at by the staff like she was stupid when she asked for a standard drink.

Forgot my drink once and had to go back to the counter after 10 minutes of standing there in a quiet store.

Was just given the wrong drink, but was in a hurry to leave and had better things to do and liked it enough so kept...

Tried this Starbucks for the first time two nights ago whilst meeting a friend for coffee. The seating area was empty and possibly one car in the drive thru. We waited 5 minutes minimum to be acknowledged by the staff who were doing the orders for the drive thru, where we received a cursory 'wont be a minute' While we were waiting, the order for the drive thru was sent back as was made with the wrong milk. We were eventually served, ordering two coffees, and my friend went to pay with a £20 note only to be told they don't accept cash. When asked why, we were told it was due to covid???? Ordered at the drive through waited in the line for 40 minutes. When we got to the window they didn’t even have our order and didn’t offer to take it then just pure rudeness she started asking us if our names were different names i don’t know why Cus you don’t give a name a the drive through. No staff looked happy and no respect given the other Starbucks in Banbury is ten times better.
