Tesco Cafe — Restaurant in Cherwell District

Just rubbish.

The staff were polite enough but rubbish, didn’t know what was in stock. When the 3 things i requested first were not in stock they were not apologetic. I imagine they are just used to nothing being in stock.

I ordered a kids pizza which took over 15 minutes to arrive despite the cafe being almost empty. The pizza came molten hot on a very hot plate, obviously just microwaved as looked just like a Chicago town pizza.

Plenty more to say but all in all...

I have given one star because it won't let me give zero! Ordered two breakfast bloomers for myself and my wife. The wife got undercooked bacon I had cooked sausages but obviously the cheapest that could be found. Both were served in 2 plain white slices of the worst bread I have ever tasted, I would have thought bloomer would be bloomer bread or at least a nice roll? Charged £2.50 for each which was a definite rip off. Needless to say I will not be going again....

I ordered the all day standard size breakfast with a side of mushrooms, also a decaf latte, I had a half an hour wait and I did eventually chase it up, I was told they were more busy than usual for a Tuesday and not enough staff had been a rotared on the shift, as I'd drunk all my coffee by then, I was given a complementary one and as I'd only received one small mushroom, they cooked me another larger one, I did enjoy the food in the end after...
