Really disappointed with this place as reviews are brilliant. The food was lovely but the owner very rude. Made us feel very uncomfortable as she was rushing all the tables as they had over booked. We was eating desert still and she bought the birthday cake out when we wasn’t ready and was eating just so that she could get us out quicker. She also gave us the bill whilst still eating!! Then we had just finished desert and she she said okay next people are here thanks. I’ve never been to a restaurant where they have been so rude!! We was all at the table apart from my sister who was struggling to park as the parking is also rubbish and because it was 10 mins after the table time and she was trying to find somewhere to park, bearing in mind we had pre ordered so wasn’t an issue to find out what she was having, she came over and said your table was booked for 5:30. We were like right… she’s struggling to find somewhere to park as there’s no parking available. So from the moment we arrived extremely RUDE! We overheard her say to another table she would need to move there table half way through there food due to needing the space for a table to go there! It was extremely poor and very uncomfortable atmosphere!! Would not recommend!!

She wasn’t 30 mins late. She was 15 due to really struggling to park somewhere as it’s terrible parking and you have only 7 spaces!! We left at 7:10. So was 5 minutes before we actually needed to leave. You put down the bill at 6:45pm so also 30 mins before the ‘said’ time to leave as I have a proof of this! The food is lovely and it’s a shame your attitude is poor and that you’re very rude! Please go on a course to sort this so you don’t lose customers in...
Read moreWhat an amazing place! As a person who's lived in Italy, the experience at Sicily was like coming home! Monica, owner/manager does an incredible job with her well-trained, efficient and charming staff, every one of them. She was, herself, very attentive and solicitous. The menu is varied and interesting, with extra thought given to providing home-made pasta, for example, and every sauce had beautiful ingredients, with that extra little touch, such as pistachio powder on the Caserrecce! Makes all the difference! The chef has tenderly and cleverly brought the traditional Sicilian food into the 2020s! We had mixed starters, including divine Burrata(veryposh Mozzarella!),a range of salamis, tapenade, olives and delicious tomato bruschetta, the latter so fresh it felt as if the tomatoes had just been picked! Our main courses were a range of home-made pastas with swordfish, pistachio and fennel sausage in fresh tomato or other. House wine was good. Desserts were shared across the five of us, as they were so large and we were so full! The desserts were Cassata, Tiramisu and Dark Chocolate warmed pudding with vanilla cream top,all delicious, followed by macchiatos and limoncello gratis. A totally wonderful experience in a restaurant with with a very nice vibe, lovely staff and with super quality. Grazie mille a Monica e tutti quelle persone che ci davono la nostra esperienza molto speciale Sabato sera, il 23 Marzo 24. In bocca al lupo e tanti auguri per il futoro del ristorante superbo. Read moreA hidden little gem of a place ...
We've driven past this place many a times on our way to town - not thinking much of it.. it's a shame we didn't try it sooner!
Food: Fantastically tasty food, which was prompt and well presented. On the first visit, there was a substitute on my tagliatelle - but this is because it's all made fresh that day and we arrived one hour before closing. Tried a few different starters/sharing plates, both were beautiful and (as much as I know) tasted authentic. Each following visit has been equally beautiful food.
Service: First time, we arrived an hour before closing (cause... Yolo and we were hungry) and they were still very welcoming and accommodating. We still weren't rushed to order out food, even with the time. Everyone was friendly, polite and helpful. On following visits, everyone has been beyond lovely on each visit ...
Atmosphere: Decorated with little touches of Sicily - it has a nice ambience for the type of food and cuisine served. It can get a little loud, with the size of the room, but nothing to stop you visiting this beautiful little gem.
Would definitely recommend and will...
