Greggs — Restaurant in Chorley

Don’t know what I did to upset the young female worker here, but after serving a woman in front of me and politely bagging it up for her before giving it her. I ordered and after asked for a bag, she got my order together on the counter then dumped a bag on it… and did absolutely nothing but wait till I bagged it myself till serving the next customer, what disrespect did I give to recieve such disrespect in return? Lazy miserable attitude. Wonder if the managers treat their workers right here.

Edit, 5months later; the owner(manager) has had the same generic response to every negative review. I can only reply to these reviews by editing as I’m unable to reply to responses to reviews. These manages and company’s know this and therefore send multiple generics responses back to our reviews. Absolute disgrace. I tried again at this place this morning around 9:30. Only had yesterdays leftovers on the menu. Never ever trying them again and I strongly suggest anyone reading this to boycott this greggs altogether. Disgusting generic response to my original and to other complaints ( which you should still see unless this edit changes it or they delete it. But multiple low star reviews had the same as...

I was in this store today and I witnessed something truly amazing by your staff member george (Georgina) there was a death couple in front of me in the que and she took the gentleman’s order and had a conversation with him totally using sign language when I asked her if this was greggs training she replied no she learned it in a previous career and continues to use it day to day it was truly amazing and touched my heart what a wonderful lady and I think that it should become a national trained thing in all greggs and other food venues as the death and disabled deserve to be able to...

Was able to park up in front of the store even with a queue of 5 or 6 customers in store only two people sat inside eating.

It wasn't clear to me but the bacon butties in the hot counter section had gone and I wondered if we'd missed out, they were however making them behind the counter with one member of staff continually overseeing to this whilst two others served drinks and customers.

Hot drinks served in decent secure lidded cups which my young son found easy enough to handle. Serviettes inside the bag with the bacon butties so all good.

Clean store, polite staff....
