My boyfriend placed an order here while we were on holiday celebrating our 2 year anniversary together. We received the order fast and with no problem, the driver was absolutely lovely too and we got the order at 7pm. I received a call from the driver just as we finished the food saying that we had called to say the garlic bread was missing, I went down and cleared things up telling him we haven't called them up and everything was fine but thanks for coming back. Then at 10.10pm we received a call from the store manager stating that we haven't paid, as we believed that we paid card I tried to explain this to her but our bank does not let us view pending transactions so there was no way to tell on our side. The manager said we needed to pay that night (bare in mind it's 10pm in a city we don't know) and insisted we give her the cash or pay by card over the phone. As the email states we will not be asked for payment over the phone I said we can check the bank again first thing in the morning and call them up to take next step etc based on that. She seemed OK with this and said that a driver will call bus at 10am and come to collect the money if bit turns out we didn't pay card. Fair enough with me, we were going to pay wither way, just didn't want to pay twice. She then phoned us back again at 10.30pm stating that I had to pay there and then on the phone or a driver will come out now to get the cash. I explained we are on holiday and we are not leaving the hotel at nearly 11pm to find a cash point, we will pay them in the morning as can not do the night. She finally accepted this and said a driver will call us at 10am then come out to get the money. We waited in for the call the next day and after hearing nothing by 10.30am I phoned them. A male shift manager answered who did not seem to know what was going on. I explained the situation to him and he said he would send a driver out straight away. We left the money with reception for the hotel as we had plans and could not wait around. We then received 2 missed called by domino's while we were out and when we got back the driver from the initial deliver phoned to say he can come to collect the money when ever we are ready as his manager has taken the money from him!! For a start why is the manager taking he money from the employee.. this is wrong! And also I had paid. The driver from the morning collected he money from reception. I explained this to him and he seemed very distressed on the phone, I felt awful for him so I had to phone the store back and tell them I have paid earlier that day. They done some chasing up with morning staff and found that I had paid. The driver phoned me back to thank me for paying. I feel disgusted, the driver should not have been made to pay. Yes he forgot to ask for the cash initially upon delivery but he seemed under Alot of stress and his manager that night was rude to myself about the situation over the phone. I am appalled by the way the drivers had been treated, the lack of communication between management and also the way the female manager spoke to myself. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am really frustrated with this store, there are always issues like poor pizza quality, too much pizza sauce or forget to give part of order, also when customers are in store, staff speak with each other in different language than in English, with customers in store they should technically speak English.
When I phoned today to report that my pizza quality Is bad, the women on the phone was very uninterested in what I was saying, she said like āoh yes, yes. Am sorry, bring the pizza back and the call ended but after discussing the issue with my partner, we agreed that the store had made a mistake so why should we go back almost 2 miles to the exchange the pizza, I know it was collection but he already went up to dominos and collected the pizza but we werenāt expecting this poor quality, so we phoned back after a minute we asked if we pay can they deliver it because itās their fault and she said that they cant do that. So I started going on about they issues I have with this store and how often and that this mistake was on their end and she cut me off while speaking, told me they are busy and hanged up on me, she lied because it didnāt seem busy when my partner arrived at the store shortly after. This was disrespectful, and from now on this store will never get a good word from me, and Iāll always judge it to be they worst, because this is the only store that makes mistakes and puts way too much tomato sauce onto the pizza, like please employ someone who can make pizza so we can avoid This!
Below I added photos below that show the first pizza after arrival home and then the nice pizza is the one that was replaced by the first pizza, my partner asked the staff at dominos if this pizza is good quality and he didnāt even say anything⦠obviously we know why.
I wonder why I had to argue in order to get a good quality pizza, where it shouldāve been like that in the beginning. Also the Craigmillar store times are not correct, google shows till 23pm but the dominoās app shows 1am or 23pm depending on location, I have included the screenshots to prove this. UPDATE- staff continue to speak their own language between each other in the store in FRONT OF CUSTOMERS, this is really unprofessional!!! I donāt know if theyāre discussing me or anybody else, itās unfair to customers who only speak English. If this behaviour continues, I will be forced to take this further as this been going on for at least a year and it rude and disrespectful to customers. Disgusting behaviour...

So we called the store, the store staff thereās wrong with the app and asked us to wait. second, we ordered the food 11:00 pm, we received the order 12:17 pm. This was over what the app was showing order arrived 30 minutes later. During the whole time, my boyfriend was standing outside waiting for the driver. When the shop called me again which was not through the orderās number, he started saying the driver was outside but my boyfriend was standing outside too. He didnāt receive any food. Then the staff said: āthis is your fault.ā He said we didnāt type the right number so the driver couldnāt get through us. But we double checked. We filled out the right number and the signal was fine as well. I feel really angry about what the staff said to me since the app showed itās delivered and we didnāt type the wrong phone number. Third, when I was still talking to that staff, he hung up the call, which is rude and disrespectful again. I wish I can get the proper response from your customer service team as soon as possible. This kind of behaviour in front of customers is unacceptable and unprofessional. I hope I can be treated right that way I treated your staff. Hope this thing can be solved...
