Unfortunately we had a horrible experience.. we stood for few minutes and waited for a table with no welcome from the staff, we then helped ourselves to sit. A waiter kept going back and forth and couldn't see that our table needed clearing from previous costumers. When I asked him if he could clear it, he took the plates and left napkins and the drink can! Had to ask the person at the till who came and cleared the rest, but not even sprayed the table (covid is still around!). We ordered the shawarma house mix plate with lamb and chicken shawarma, a chicken shawarma for my husband, chicken fatayer and baba ghanush with naan bread as a side. Well we ended up all having just the baba ghanuch which was bitter and too salty with the bread. The shawarma chicken my husband ordered was not fully cooked while mine was too dry and tasteless, absolutely tasteless. The lamb one was absolutely DISGUSTING, it felt like eating pure fat. The dressing bottles for the salad were so dirty that I had my bit of salad with nothing on. The chicken fatayer was eatable, nothing wow! All this for £36 then we had to go home and make a cheese sandwich!! The TV was too loud, floor slippy and next to the toilet lots of chairs were piled up at a considerable height which I felt ot was a hazard to anyone accessing the toilets. To summarize Dirty place where covid apparently doesn't exist, our table wasn't even wiped after other costumers and none of the staff wore a mask! Food was tasteless Staff unfortunately weren't welcoming at all, lacking costumer service skills

Read moreFirst time having Shawarma and it certainly won’t be the last. It was made very quickly and it tasted amazing. We could decide on the fillings. I went for mixed meat and salad which came with a choice of sauces. The portions were very generous (overflowing with meat) and the bread was very nice. Since this was my first time having this I can’t compare to anything else I have had before which may explain my high score. The only negative I would give is that I believe it would be nicer if they mixed the meat and the salad together because once you make your way through all the meat and sauce on the top, you end up with just the salad at the bottom which is ok but a bit bland. I suppose it wouldn’t be difficult to mix it all together prior to eating so I can’t fault it too much. As expected, being in city centre it was a little expensive but very big portions so works out to be pretty good value. Overall brilliant meal and I will definitely be...
