I recently had the pleasure of dining at Good Burger, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience!
Smash Burger: The star of the show was undoubtedly the smash burger. Cooked to perfection, the patty was beautifully crispy on the outside while remaining juicy and flavoursome on the inside. The toppings were fresh and complemented the burger wonderfully. The bun was soft yet sturdy enough to hold everything together without falling apart. It’s a must-try for any burger lover!
Smash Toastie: Next up was the smash toastie. This unique twist on a classic sandwich was delightful! The bread was perfectly toasted, creating a satisfying crunch with each bite. The filling was generous, with melted cheese and savoury ingredients that blended together beautifully. It’s a comforting dish that’s perfect for sharing (or not!).
Waffles and Dessert: To finish off the meal, I indulged in the waffles and dessert. The waffles were light and fluffy, drizzled with a rich syrup that added just the right amount of sweetness. Paired with a scoop of creamy ice cream, it was a heavenly combination. The dessert presentation was stunning, making it almost too pretty to eat—almost!
Overall, Good Burger exceeded my expectations with its delicious menu items. The atmosphere was inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I can’t wait to return and try more of...
Read moreMisleading business practices. They list on Uber Eats that the Simply Smashed is a 14 pound burger and that they are running a 2 for 1 promo. Having checked their in-store menu after ordering, I foubd out that this burger is actually half of that price. The so called promo is you being duped into believing youre getting value for money while paying full price for a second burger you not necessarily wanted. That is just not right, and I would not come back on the basis of that, period. Add that to the disapointment of discovering that Cola is Barr Cola, which is a bit misleading as well, and you kibd of get the tone of how these people run their joint.
Foodwise the burger was really good, albeit small. The size makes sense when you realise this is a 7 quid burger, but since I bought what I thought would be a 14 quid burger, I could not help but feeling disapointed. So here is a quality product that I come to dislike due to bad business practices.
The wings however were as soggy as they come, crust peeling down all over. Taste was bad, not sure if this was their hot sauce or the flower condiment/oil, but it didnt taste right. Silverlining here is the size. Good sized drumsticks, which are becoming a rare thing these days. Price seemed fair for the size, if only was cooked properly and tasted right.
Its a...

I tried their Simply Smashed burger, and let me just say – wow. Two perfectly smashed, juicy patties, gooey melted cheese, and a soft, buttery bun that holds everything together like a dream. Each bite was pure bliss. You know how sometimes burgers can get overly complicated? Not here. They nail the balance between flavors and textures, letting the ingredients speak for themselves.
The menu has something for everyone – from loaded fries to crispy fried chicken and even indulgent desserts like cookie dough. Oh, and their milkshakes? Next level. Creamy, rich, and just the right amount of sweetness to round off the meal.
The vibe is super chill, with friendly staff who clearly love what they do. It’s mostly a takeaway spot, but there’s a cozy counter where you can sit if you just can’t wait to dig in.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through Edinburgh, Good Burger is a must-visit. Trust me, one bite of their smashed burger and you’ll be planning your next visit before you even...
