Little Rascal Wine Shop & Bar — Restaurant in City of Edinburgh

We are so lucky to have such a special gem in the neighbourhood.

We started off with a glass of the orange, which was beautiful, followed by a bottle of red. The owner talked us through what we liked and managed to find a bottle which suited all palettes at the table!

We also has the charcuterie and cheese platters. The cheese was fantastic - the blue was a great kick, the goats cheese was so smooth and light (perfect with the fruit/nut biscuits) and the brie de mieux was one of the best I've ever had. The charcuterie was great too - the fennel sausage was sublime.

Both of us kept saying how impressed we were by the atmosphere, knowledge of the products and warmth of the owner. We are so lucky to have this nearby and fully intend to become regular...

Always enjoy a visit to Little Rascal. Should go more often but life gets in the way.

It’s friendly and non fussy. Relaxing and informative when the owners instruct on what wine to drink! They know what they’re talking about and selections have always matched our expectations.

Great selection of wine obviously. Per glass and per bottle. If wine isn’t your thing then other options are available.

And the cheese and charcuterie selection adds to a lazy afternoon.

And to top if off there is the possibility that a dog enters. Always...

Never left a review before but this place deserved it!

A little out of the way, but 100% worth it. Probably my favourite place in Edinburgh. Simple but really high-quality produce for the nibbles. Great wine selection and reasonable prices considering the quality.

The best bit is the service though. Ask the guys for their recommendations as they are so well informed and amazing hosts.

These guys are clearly passionate about wine and the experience. Having visited you can really tell.
