Not very good food. The pancakes and waffles are out of packets. To order the vegan versions, I feel a bit suspicious because I don’t know any vegan packaged waffles or pancakes… but this might just be me not knowing where to buy those! My waffle (the vegan Anna) was delicious. Vegan nutella and cream available. Quick service. Good coffee. However the vegan toastie was terrible - two slices of dry seeded bread put in the toastie maker with violife in the middle. Very dry. They should put margarine/oil on the outside of the bread to make it crispy in the toastie maker. They also couldn’t find the salt anywhere so I think they don’t use salt in their cooking! Anyway. We went to Love, Peace and Coffee everyday for almost a week, due to many other vegan places closing early or not having the option to sit inside. This place stays open most of the day and the atmosphere inside is nice when you secure yourself a nice spot. The staff was extremely friendly and well known in regards of allergies (the reason we came here) and the fact that they have pumpkin spice all year round made my partner very happy. Their carrot cake became a bit drier everyday, but the lemon buns were always warm and nice and the staff made up for this with really nice coffees and a fun little chat every day. Love, Peace, and Coffee Cafe has its highs and lows. The coffee, while a bit too hot, is okay 👌🏻 The small space boasts a good atmosphere and an impressive menu. The service is reliable. However, disappointment struck when the promised waffles were unavailable and the substitute pancakes were underwhelming—small and lacking in toppings. The matcha was a letdown, resembling sweetened hot milk. Tea enthusiasts may be disappointed with the tea bag approach. Considering these factors, I might return solely for the coffee 🤷🏼♀️
