McDonald's — Restaurant in City of Edinburgh

Waited 21 minutes to get to the collection window whereby a staff member tried to give me the wrong order. When I questioned this the manager “Rhys” abruptly intervened and started to call me “Pal” not Sir!…..I explained that the queue was out the car park and on the main road to which he exclaimed “so what”. I then asked why aren’t you using the waiting bays around the corner surely that’s what they are for….without getting a reply. I asked for my money back and was told to wait around the corner in the parking bay and he’d bring it out. 5 minutes later after berating a member of staff to please hurry him up as my little boy was upset about not getting his milkshake he came out with the refund. I never normally complain about anything but I was furious at the complete failure from the second I entered the car park to the 26 minutes later when I got my refund. Normally this branch is very well run compared to the others in Edinburgh but not tonight. Either the B-Team was on tonight or the “manager” “Rhys” isn’t ready for management responsibilities. Picked up teen from night out and headed to Corstorphine drive thru for a quick bite to eat. Ordered a filet o fish for myself which was stale and the consistency of cardboard so went back round to get a fresh one in exchange. Girl at till was very polite and apologetic and told me to go to the main window to collect my replacement. Had to explain again to the girl there that I was after a fresh filet after she tried to hand me the car behind’s order. She didn’t look best pleased that I was asking for it to be changed. Waited a couple of minutes and was handed what felt like a hot, fresh order. No apology. Parked up to eat it and was greeted by not cardboard this time but something that resembled a carpet sample. Rock hard and inedible. Teen was embarrassed enough so I didn’t go round again and it was unceremoniously binned. Needless to say I won’t be ordering from this branch again as it’s not the first time I’ve been served sub standard food almost 2 hours before closing. There’s no excuse for that really. Not cool...

Food is absolutely rotten and there’s always things missing from my order when I receive it. In my last order, I got 4 nuggets instead of 6? Does this store lack basic mathematics skills? There was also a mayo chicken missing from the SAME order. After getting through to them, I’m told the order had nothing to do with them after it’s taken by the courier and it is then Uber Eats problem, just WOW! So I didn’t even bother arguing and hung up. I stopped ordering from here for a while to give the store time to develop some brain cells and then I ordered again today. I’ve received the meal and yet again, there’s things missing! But at least this time there was 6 nuggets with the 6 Chicken Nugget meal, so there’s an improvement! But the McChicken Sandwich meal was missing the main man himself, the McChicken Sandwich! I’m not even going to bother calling this store about it because I’d rather talk to people that don’t share 3 braincells between each other.
