Worst takeaway delivery experience I've had. Ordered with Uber eats. Waited longer than the app said - which occasionally happens. However noticed quickly after delivery and item was missing. I called and informed the restaurant. I thought I'd get an apology, ask what id like to do, a refund or credit note next time or something. Nope. What sounded like a relatively young girl - seemed totally uninterested, rude and one word answering. I was then told a rice was now being sent separately, I asked how long as was told "I don't know , 9 mins". I said not to as my Meal was already here and it would be cold and not timely. I was then told "just heat it all up then". Which was v rude, and then I was told no to speaking to a manager or someone else. She then just went silent, I explained an apology even would have sorted this. No reply. More than 30 mins later now also and no rice has arrived. Not good for an order of £30 - and sadly the tikka masala tasted bland and as if they'd used tomato soup or canned sauce in it - but the rude lack of interest in customer service and lies on the phone was the biggest problem....

I had asked for tea and she started making fun of me being indian and speaking to her in english as she was Hindi speaker as well and we could clearly hear her speaking to their colleagues. I mean really this is how hospitality should be given? If speaking in hindi is funny , then why any indian staff speak to Indian/pakistani guest in english while welcoming or taking order?
I still would like to thank owner/manager of restaurant as a gesture we were not charged for the dish we didn't like but owner is not a FACE of the restaurant but the service team and if the service team will ruin the experience I dont think I will recommend this restaurant to anyone. I feel sorry for the owners they dont even know how their staff is behaving with guests nd ruining restaurants image.
This is seriously ridiculous making fun of your own guests with your team and not even bothered that they will listen and what they will think of feel...
Read morePre-ordered an Indian here for the third time tonight and unfortunately won't be returning. Ordered through their app and forgot to add my main dish - completely my mistake. I called the takeaway with three hours until my order was due to arrive to ask if they could rectify this error, 1. they had no knowledge of my order (I had been charged on my bank account) 2. they said they required 10 minutes to look in to it, so could they call me back. I received no call back and then at 8:45pm (2.5 hours since our last phone call) had a phone call to say they had 'not been able to add my main dish' due to being too busy. I had also called and left a voicemail due to the lack of contact over an hour before delivery in the hope they would remember. I've worked in hospitality for many years and I am really understanding when it comes to mistakes however think it's pretty poor customer service.
