Morich kitchen never fails to deliver. Just back from India and was missing home made authentic Bengali food. Noticed Morich kitchen has some new Bengali food in the menu for Noboborsho. So we went wild with the order and celebrated Noboborsho for the next 3 days for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Generous pieces of Ilish for that price with just the right hint of mustard is still making my mouth water like crazy. I will be lying if I didnāt mention I was a bit skeptical about the Mutton Kosa cause its hard to get proper Mutton here in UK unless you are in London area. I was pleasantly surprised to get such good quality juicy mutton pieces and almost Golbari style mutton Kosa. Just Fatafati. The Sahi Rui Korma is another addition to their menu worth mentioning. Just the right creamy and aromatic texture. Generous pieces of fish leaves you absolutely satisfied. We have tried their FishFry before so we ordered some extra āun-friedā ones to store and eat later throughout the week whenever we missed Apanjan from Kolkata. The Malpua at the end was just the icing on the cake. Above all I was extremely grateful Deb kindly accepted the order day before delivery during a busy Noboborsho time as a special request. And he even took the 2nd trip back to our place just to deliver the forgotten Kasundi in the packet. Culinary skills, Dedication and Professional behaviour like this takes the whole food experience from Morich Kitchen to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDelicious Kolkata-Style Food Delivered from Morich Kitchen I came across Morich Kitchen while browsing Google and decided to give them a try through Uber Eats and their website ā and Iām really glad I did! The food was absolutely delicious and felt genuinely authentic. I ordered the Kolkata Biryani, which came with the classic boiled egg and potato, Mutton Kosha (Goat Meat with Bone) ā a small detail that made a big difference. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the portion size was generous. I also tried several Bengali items including Chinese (Honey Glazed Chili Fish, Veg Hakka Noodles), veg (Shorshe Begun (Aubergine), Sabji Dal (Moong), Jurijuri Aloo Bhaja) and fish (Kolkata Fish Fry, Ilish Bhapa (2 pcs), Rohu Fish Kalia (2 pcs)) dishes. All of them were full of flavor and tasted homemade in the best way. Even though I didnāt visit the restaurant in person, the packaging was neat, and everything arrived hot and fresh. Itās clear they care about quality, even for delivery orders. If youāre looking for something beyond the usual Indian takeaway options, Iād definitely recommend Morich Kitchen. Their menu has a great variety, and the food really stands out for its...

First, we tasted the Veg. Fried Rice and Chilli Chicken in a Bengali community gathering. It was excellent.
Then, we tried Chicken Dum Biryani(Kolkata style). It blew our mind as it was cooked exactly the way it usually cooks in Kolkata, and the masterpiece is an egg and potato. š
On the other side, Lamb Biryani was also fabulous, and the lamb was thoroughly cooked.
Main Chicken : We tried Green Chicken Curry, Shahi Chicken, and Chicken Chap with no surprise it was mind-blowing. š
I am writing this review with great pleasure (on behalf of everyone's input in my family), not just by tasting the food once but multiple times and the taste, quality, quantity was always the same. Timely delivered with a very reasonable charge.
They have options to select spice as per your choice Mild, Hot, and Very Hot.
Unfortunately, I couldn't add any photos, as always when the food arrived, we just focused on eating it š
We highly recommend the food from Morich Kitchen to all the Bengalis in Edinburgh and natives as...
