The Terrace — Restaurant in City of Edinburgh

Went for a few drinks and a meal with my girlfriend, mum and little sister. The food and drinks where great and overall we enjoyed it. An older women who was serving let us know kids couldn't stay in the pub after 8pm which is fine, I understand that. My mum and little sister leave at 8 and I go try order a drink at the bar but I'm told its table service only by the same older women while I've just seen 4 people being served at the bar. I sit down and wait 30 minutes still waiting to put an order in while 2 big tables of people go up to order. the table next to us with 2 much younger kids than my sister are still in the bar at this point running and screaming. We left at quarter to 9 as I didn't really feel like being there any longer when we were told what rules we had to follow but then no one else has to...

Absolute fantastic place to go! The food is second to none and clearly homemade and the price of food and drink is excellent compared to other places. The service is the by far some of the best service I have seen in a pub, it’s fast and the people are very kind and welcoming, going as far as on my second trip there gifting me with a £5 voucher for my next visit. I was staying in the local hotel and it’s only a 15 minute walk there or a 5 minute drive which when it’s compared to the price of the hotel food and drink makes it a well worth journey. 100%...

Can't believe the review by ranguno I've been customer regular for many years and the staff all staff very friendly they can't be more helpful and the manager being rude is nonsense also the food is of the highest standard and all my friends other customers can't fault the staff I would recommend the food to anyone I've eaten in Sheraton the top restaurants and this terrace bar rates...
