Domino's Pizza - York - Clifton Moor — Restaurant in Clifton Without

Placed an order through the app. Left driver instructions although very limited due to restrictions on characters.

Got a call saying glitch in the system so saying order delivered, apologised and said don’t worry about it. This is where the good customer service stopped and the only reason this isn’t a 1 star review.

Left further, more detailed instructions for the driver. We live in a new build (4 years old) and people still can’t find us.

40 minutes pass with no sign of the pizza, call to find out where it is. Women on the phone barely speaks English and is rude, dismissive about the driver saying he will be 5 mins.

10 mins later, another phone call made. Driver is struggling to find the address. I said why say it would be 5 minutes then? To which she says ‘I don no’. Driver calls saying outside.

Apologised as hadn’t been given the further instructions. Pizza was barely warm. Kicked it back, phoned and said I would like a new one sending out it’s cold.

Very dismissive again and I doubt I will see my pizza that costs the same as a meal out.

Do not order from here!!! Read all other reviews. Disgusting customer service. Called up because we hadn’t received our order. Woman answered who was snarky and extremely rude. No apology or offer to remake. Told us to ring back in the morning. Said they had cancelled the order and we had been refunded. I had no refund and no proof of cancellation. Asked for proof of this refund and they said they couldn’t provide it. Another man then came onto the phone, said we should “do better” next time we order. Again asked for proof of this refund, he said someone will take a picture of it and send it. I said no, i want an email from dominos that’s legitimate. They said no. After a few minutes they now said they could send an email. It’s been an hour and no email received. No food. Have had to contact paypal to open a dispute. Absolutely disgusting. Arguing over the phone with two members of staff when all we wanted is the food we...

It's a standard pizza place with free parking. What impressed me was the customer service received. I had a discount coupon which required me to give the order through their app. While giving the order I selected the wrong store by mistake which was on the other side of town. It was quite late as we decided to pick up the pizza after a movie. When I inquired about my order after waiting for 10 minutes they checked my order details on the app and that is when I realised my mistake. The lady on the till who I think was also the store manager was extremely helpful. She still baked me the pizza which I had ordered and did not charge anything extra.
