Poor food, venue and value. As we sat down, before we had read the menu, we were asked if we wanted to order drinks. I asked for a bottle of still water. These cost 17p at a supermarket and I would be happy to pay a pound or two at a restaurant. It cost £4.29. With the menu and prices in front of us, I asked which of the pizzas would be big enough for my two children and I to share and we ordered one of these. If they had been honest at this stage, I would not be leaving a bad review. When the pizza came it was oily and certainty not enough for the three of us. I queried this and only then was I told that all of their pizzas are for one person. I don't mind paying top prices for top quality food in a quality venue but this was neither of the latter. The urinal was blocked. If you go here and pay by card, be careful as it is easy for a "gratuity" to be added unintentionally if you press the wrong key. I asked for this to be removed and it was. The manager inferred, and I agree, that this is not a place to go if you are on a budget. I paid for what we had ordered, left and we ate elsewhere. Different businesses make money in different ways. I don't like how they make money here as they use deceptive practices. I will not visit Bella again. I also wish that I had read a few reviews before...
Read moreFirst visit back since Covid, but it was like we had never been away. Great to see the same incredible FOH staff, who remembered us from before - we were very regular diners. I have food allergies and intolerances, and with the menu being scaled back somewhat I wasn't quite sure what to have but the manager suggested a dish that I had actually not seen on the menu, and what a great choice it turned out to be. I can't remember the proper name but chicken breast wrapped in prosciutto ham, tenderstem broccoli & potatoes, with marsala sauce. I ditched the sauce because of allergies, but the meal was fantastic. Dessert menu is very sparse by comparison to pre covid options but there is still a good choice of dairy free ice creams, cookie dough desserts etc plus regular desserts for those without intolerance or allergies.
All in all a fabulous return to what has been our family favourite restaurant, since it opened. Planning another visit...
Read moreI cannot thank you enough for our lunch earlier this week.
Less than a week ago our eldest daughter was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease. It's been a huge shock to us all and it's definitely a new way of life.
From the second we arrived with you (we mentioned it on the booking) we couldn't have been made to feel more welcome or comfortable! The man that greeted us was lovely. Even the added touch of adding an allergen aware bottle was fully appreciated. Also the flag in the meal itself was great!
There was lots and lots of choice for her on both the main menu and the dessert menu!
Thank you to each and every one of who made our first official gluten free meal amazing, stress free and relaxed! It was delicious. We really enjoyed it and cannot thank you enough for our experience! Fully enjoyed the new addition of Spinach and Ricotta cannelloni for myself too!
I wish you all the best and we are already...
