Hi, I visited your coffee house today with my mum and two brothers having seen it whilst walking along the high street. My mum and I thought it looked really nice from the outside and were impressed by the country style interior and a promising atmosphere. Unfortunately that was the extent of it. We found the tea cakes underwhelming (at least serve nice butter with it, not prepackaged) and were very disappointed with a ÂŁ2.50 glass of almost flat coke (I would suggest either selling cans, or if you want to charge a little more, fresh glass bottles). The very fact that you advertise yourselves as a coffee house would suggest that you can at least produce a good quality coffee, however, it was only warm, disappointing when you had in act burnt the milk. Steaming milk isn't a hard skill if your staff are correctly trained, perhaps invest in a training course, although expensive they are definitely worth the money if you want returning customers!! Another point would be that vanilla ice cream in chocolate milkshake is questionable given the colour difference, please use the correct flavour ice cream or at least blend it properly so your customers don't know. Finally, the millionaire shortbread could do with some serious work, the shortbread itself for doughy and flat, not at all like shortbread should be (buttery and melt in your mouth), there was not nearly enough caramel (and it was gritty) and the chocolate was of very poor quality. Overall, I would rate the experience very poorly and would not return or recommend. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you take this on board because it was such a shame!!!

Best wishes for future business...

Have basically been haunting this place every Saturday for about 150 years—give or take a decade—after crawling out of Farm Fit or whatever masochistic workout 360 Blockley has dreamt up. This is the spot for restoring our will to live (and feeling slightly smug about earning the Sausage Brioche and bacon sandwich we order every time. Yes, we are creatures of habit. Yes, we are boring. No, we don’t care.) The coffee is excellent, the ice cream soda is life-changing, and the scones are so good they probably violate local bylaws. Also, can we talk about the salt and pepper pots? Top-tier seasoning delivery systems. If it’s Wednesday at 6:15am (the only ungodly hour when you’re closed) we admit we stray to Grouch—our breakfast rebound fling—way more healthy and you get Kelly making the coffee which is also amazing (please see counter recommendation on her page) . Long story short: please never, ever close. You are the highlight of our Saturday mornings, our post-spin reward, and the reason we still function after HIIT, and as we are both over 56 now .. we may not ever function again without your food and coffee

P.S. The service is the friendliest in the Cotswolds. You even tolerate our incessant rambling about how many calories we think we burned, discussions about salt and pepper, even look tolerant when we vaguely consider changing our 159 year order, but don't sound surprised when we don't...

I visited yesterday for the 5th time..its an 80mile round trip so it shows how good this place is. I ordered my usual bacon and brie on white bread...came out on brown which i cant eat..with Covid the menu restricted so no white bread but they went down the road and bought a loaf just for me and reduced the price!!!How many places would do that! The bacon and brie are top quality. My friend adored her warm fruit scone with cream and jam too. No i have no connection with anyone at this tearoom but i feel very cross when i read bad reviews about them especially in such extraordinary times...as if businesses dont have enough to worry about.Yes you may have to wait a little longer sometimes but have some patience and understanding!Keep up the good work guys...as promised i will be back! One point id like you consider...with no menus and just a chalk board would it not be a good idea to put the breads available under your sandwiches section on your chalk board? Then customers would be aware before ordering.See you...

We stayed in the airbnb the night before and decided to have breakfast in the morning
how could you not after smelling the cooking below you. The food was absolutely delicious, atmosphere was peaceful and beautiful and the service and staff were outstanding. We had an iced latte each (with oat milk) followed by the sausage, fried egg, emmental and red onion jam breakfast bun (we asked for scrambled egg instead of fried and they happily obliged) and this was insanely good. A perfect start to the day. I cannot recommend this place enough for anyone visiting the area. Locally sourced food that was beautifully cooked to perfection all for a decent price.

What a fabulous little place, it does look very unassuming from the outside, but walk into the front room, or through to the court yard especially on a chilly morning when the sun is out and you will not be disappointed, you can sit out in the glorious sunshine, out of the breeze, The friendly staff come out to you with a smile and the coffee was fab, but the brioche bun with bacon and egg was wicked! And priced reasonably too. Good quality ingredients are being used here, a must visit! Will definitely be back on our next time through the village.

A phenomenal little cafe with a courtyard in the back. The coffee was some of the best I had in the UK, and the food was fantastic (get the sausage bun, you know you want to). The staff are very casual and friendly, and it was a nice mix of regulars and visitors coming through. And if you’re inclined, you can actually rent out the room above the cafe (check out their AirBnB listing).
