Last Sunday we had an unfortunate experience at this café that left us quite disappointed. If you decide to visit, be prepared to place your order quickly—within a minute, in fact! Otherwise, the barista may show their irritation with some not-so-subtle facial expressions, and you could find yourself asked to leave the line to accommodate others.

Visiting with family, especially kids, might not be the best idea either. It seemed as though the staff were annoyed by our children simply having fun. The atmosphere felt lacking in the genuine smiles and warmth you typically expect from a café, which was disheartening.

It's hard to shake the feeling that the service we received might have been influenced by factors like ethnicity or just a rough start to their day. Whatever the case, it felt like a wave of negativity that really dampened our experience. All in all, this was one of the poorest examples of customer service we’ve encountered, and we won’t...

Man/woman/dog enjoyed freshly [on the premises] roasted/ground/brewed mocha, sludgily-thick hot chocolate [topped with real shaved chocolate from a block], a rather delicious crepe, and free wifi; at prices significantly less than international chains.

In fact it is hard to see how such quality of ingredient & preparation can be profitable. I do hope it remains so, for - whilst the chinaware & seating is nothing to speak of - the actual product [as delivered from a most professional Dutch (?) barista] is quite excellent.

Genuinely the best tasting drinks we have had in more years than we care to recall.

Quaint and so warm feeling New England Coffee was an experience from start to finish The entrance, gives that warm old tea house feel! We were greeted by the most friendly and professional team members, who took our order and even suggested a room to sit in to enjoy our coffee I only took 1 picture, but know this place can seat numerous people. (Also bathroom very big) The atmosphere was complemented by the tasteful coffee (in the photo a flat white and peach tea) We will go out of our way to go again when next in the area Thank you, and any coffee/tea/treat lover reading this should make it a priority to...

New England Coffee House is hands down the best coffee spot in the Cotswolds! ☕️✨ If you’re in Stow-on-the-Wold, you have to stop by—you won’t be disappointed. Angeliki and her team are so warm and welcoming, making every visit a pleasure. I personally love their deli sourdough sandwiches, and the coconut mocha is a dream (it’s like a Bounty in a cup!). A must-visit for coffee lovers and foodies alike!

I would give 6 ⭐stars if I could! Everything is perfect. Excellent coffee ☕ special pastry 🍰 ,make sure to try m'hencha (one of the few cafes where you can buy this). We stayed in the b&b next door and had breakfast here everyday. The rooms upstairs are special! My favorite is the pink style on the first floor 🌸🌸🌸
