Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Coventry

I had the worst experience with Papa John’s tonight. I placed an order for two pizzas, but when my delivery arrived, there was only one pizza. The driver not only tried to lie to me, claiming there were two pizzas in one box (which is obviously impossible), but also got up in my face and started shouting at me. When I asked for his name, he refused to provide it and even tried to lie about that too.

Thinking I could resolve this with the restaurant, I called and spoke to someone claiming to be the “supervisor.” She was just as unprofessional as the driver. She rudely told me there was nothing they could do because the store was closing, then started shouting at me, refused to give her name, and hung up on me multiple times when I tried to get help.

This kind of service is completely unacceptable. I’ve never dealt with such rude, unprofessional behavior from any business, let alone a major pizza chain. Papa John’s needs to seriously rethink how they train their staff and handle customer service. Until this is addressed, I won’t be ordering from this location again—and I’ll be warning others to...

Ordered 2 pizzas from here and after started to eat the first one noticed a long black hair in it. Immediately stopped eating it and checked the second one and there was a hair in that one too! They were under the cheese imbedded in the pizzas. Phoned them up and they weren’t having any of it so I told them I’d come back to the store. Once I was there I showed them the hairs (I have blonde hair) and they tried to blame it on me. Not sure how someone could plant a hair inside the cheese but they weren’t apologetic at all. Then they asked how old I was. Not sure what my age has to do with it, I was old enough to buy the pizza (and I was over 18). Finally got my refund and then they begged me not to leave a bad review. Awful service, I was treated like a liar and judged because of the way I was dressed & my age. Would never give papa John’s my money again. Order I pizza from here through Deliveroo yesterday it never showed up. Papa John's are on of a few restaurants on Deliveroo who are responsible for delivering orders from Deliveroo themselves. When I complained to the restaurant on the night I was told I could have a refund and I would be contacted today, Sunday, this never happened and I ended up calling the restaurant myself only to be told I couldn't get a refund because ot was Deliveroo responsible. I then contacted Deliveroo who contacted the restaurant the restaurant told Deliveroo my order had been delivered this was a lie it hadn't been delivered it all.
