All Day Cafe 2 — Restaurant in Crawley

Ask for proper bill before you leave - cheats!!! Be very careful if you're new to the area. If you are with the group, maybe tired after long day or after night out, make sure that you ask for a proper bill and check against the menu. The chubby guy who served my group of friends, added ad hoc bill to £31.80 but seeing that I had two £20 notes in hand, asked for £0.80. I thought he will bring £10 back. Nope. 10 minutes later I went to the counter to ask for change. He said the bill was actually £41.80. I immediately asked for receipt. He literally typed it on the till. I was wise enough to grab a menu and compare it with all what we had on the table. He had audacity to shout that everything was exactly as we had, despite of me pointing out the fact of us being overcharged for chef's breakfast £7.95. Toast at £0.80 was £2.20 and I'm not gonna even mention the ridiculous price of espresso. We managed to recover only half of our money. Service was fast and food served hot, but my initial intention of leaving a tip went down the drain, as soon as I saw how he made up the prices at the till and pretended that he doesn't understand English very well ( oh yes, since my roots are not exactly from here, I feel this needs to be said: behaviour like that spoils reputation of people who are foreign but do honest work in this country). Spend money somewhere...

Honestly, after read all the positive reviews and we went to the Alldays cafe2. Four of us arrived at the restaurant 10:07 am and we waited till 10:26. We kept looking inside and the staffs didn't pay attention to us - around 3 tables with customers. No menu on the table ( we seated ourside-smoking area ). A man looks like Turkish with beard, came to us and asks. Is ready to order? We didn't even have a menu... So, he gave us menus and he kindly tells us all the breakfast are included with hot drinks and bread. We all ordered different set of breakfast. The coffees and cuppocinos. It was nice and hot. Then the breakfast is serve within 5 minutes. We are and the final conclusion is. The breakfast are very cheap quality, sausages are very salted, the baked beans is not hot, harsh brown is good but the black pudding is cold ( it is from the fridge ). When we asks for the bill, a young guy bring us the bill and we politely said thank you...sadly no respect the customer with a thank you back to us. We won't recommend to anyone for this restaurant for the reasons. Cheap, bad quality, terrible service and lack of management skills. A one ✳️ is that all we can give. I hope the boss will read this message and get a new management with proper staffs..because it is a good location and please do good foods, decent...

My experience with this cafe wasnt pleasant. I recommend new visitors. Do not use this cafe. Ordered two omelette with salad one came perfectly cooked with beautiful plated salad. The other came burnt-out over cooked and slammed dunked on the plate. Politely asked the kitchen to re do again without burning outside of omelette. Owner / manager wanted to give explanation on the poor cooking quality of the omelette. Refused to recook and immediately and abruptly gave back the cash when we paid by card. As visitors to the area, I suggest do not visit due yo bad attitude and serious 😒 customer service
