Starbucks Coffee — Restaurant in Crawley

Oh boy 😅 It was an experience! I mean it was almost hilarious the way the staff was totally just given up on life. There were 3 of them, slow as sloths. Literally, they took the orders together, then all the customers were standing in the waiting area just thirsty for their drinks, hot as hell, sweat dripping, while one staff was trying to do the drinks. Messed one up. Re-done it. The guy was explaining something to her while doing nothing himself. The 3rd girl was just slowly wiping around. The door in the cafe was ajar, heat comming in from outside. Honestly, air conditioning on the smallest setting would have done a better job. As I got my frapucino it managed to feel lukewarm rather than ice cold and whomever pronounced my name managed to butcher it wonderfully! That's an extra star ! As per Starbucks tradition 😅🤣 Honestly, considering how overpriced Starbucks is you kind of expect at least a bit better service. This used to be a nice coffee and tea location, unfortunately they seem to not be reordering particular drinks they have on the menus?! Mainly the caffeine free, not just the decaffeinated drinks (reduced caffeine). For the past several months they have had no stock of several drinks I used to get, I tell them everytime I come in to find there underwhelming choice has not changed, again and again. For a company making so much profit, they seem to be letting their standards of customer supply and service slip just as much. I recently went to Starbucks to meet a friend that I haven't seen for a long time and while the food and drink was as good as always, I wasn't that impressed with the staff. The coffee and toastie I had was lovely but the person that served me on the till was talking with a colleague while serving me and barely even acknowledged my presence. We then asked for the only spare table to be wiped down as it had only just been vacated and again, the person on the till was less than friendly. We were just trying to be careful as there is a pandemic currently going on, but they acted as if we were asking for something unreasonable.
