Read moreLiterally nothing I ordered is good. I don’t understand. The prices are extremely high end. Yet nothing is good. Literally nothing cat be ate in my 50£ meal. My 12 piece sushi is limp, sweaty and warm texture like it’s been left out all day on a hot counter and it’s not firm it’s like jelly. The egg is green brown underneath like it’s an old egg. Homemade Ramen?? Not a chance it’s homemade. It’s like those instant noodles you buy as a college student when you have no money to buy or cook decent food. I never saw such itty thready noodles but they are stuck together in a lump. Rice is definitely NoT cooked fresh. Again all stuck together in thick lump. I ordered salmon teriyaki you gave me chicken or pork or??? . Not salmon. What is the meat on my soup? It’s actually the taste of sliced supermarket sandwich meat. Just heated up. Again, I’m afraid to eat it. I asked for no added sweet corn and you gave me sweet corn. I asked for no Kimchi and you gave me kimchi. It was the end of the day maybe you were just wanting to go home and not care about the amount a customer is spending in hopes of a delicious home cooked dinner. You do realise for some people 50£ is a ton of money? Ask the homeless man sleeping across the street from your restaurant what he would expect to get for a 50£ dinner. You’re reviews are good. But your food was horrible so what happened??? I think you need to refund me for this terrible food. 50 pounds is a fortune to spend. But if food is good I can say I treated myself kindly. But if it’s 50£ for end of the day reheated food, the wrong meat, items I specifically said I don’t want, seafood that I’m afraid to eat because I don’t want food poisoned you know? I’m so sad about this food and the amount it cost me!! Do the right thing and refund me please....
Read moreI was very excited about this restaurant opening, unfortunately I was let down. When walking in to the restaurant we were greeted by the manager who kindly opened the door for us. We were then left with a waitress that asked if we had a reservation. We did not as the website had been down all day. Regardless, we told her no and we’re shown a table to sit at… it was a table with 2 chairs even tho there was 3 of us and a baby. I had to ask for another chair. We then sat there for 10 minutes before a waiter asked if we wanted some menus…. Let that just sink in. Anyway, the waitress that took out order was very friendly and very knowledgeable. She helped me answer a few questions about items on the menu. The only thing she got wrong was telling me they do Coke Zero and then bringing me a Diet Coke.
So 20 minutes later we got our starter of takoyaki which was absolutely delicious. I finished my 2 pieces in seconds. I did however had to get up and ask for 2 forks for my wife and child as they can’t use chopsticks. These never came and they had to use their hands.
After another 30 minutes of waiting our main finally came. I ordered the ramen which was just ok. The broth was very bland and nothing blew me away. My wife’s meal was completely inedible, the udon noodles were undercooked and tasted like play dough.
When we went to pay we explained how we felt and the manager and cashier were very understanding and apologetic. They explained how they had just opened and it was quite overwhelming for them. They took my wife’s food off the bill and also knocked 30% off.
Overall I would visit here again but once they gain the experience and customer...
