I would like to write to you to make a complaint against the way I was treated by your team in the full house in Hemel Hempstead. We arrived to be let in by the security guards on the door, to then spend 15minutes getting a drink and after that going to find a table and with under five minutes of going to the table, I then had the same security team ask to speak to me so we went to the door and I was told that I had to leave because I had been rude and abbusive to one of the bar staff, so I said I had only been in there for 20minutes and spoken to one gentlemen behind the bar and the security team came back and said this happened last week. However I had not been in the pub for over a year and I know exactly why I got asked to leave because one of my exâs works behind the bar and she was speaking to security team just before I got asked to leave which clearly shows it was her who has made something up because she didnât want me there. There is no proof to this at all also if I had been abbusive to your staff then howcome the same security team that asked me too leave were the ones who let me through the door until she said something to them, the name of the security guard is Ryan Dean. So one the drinks we had ordered all the money was lost on them, also your members of staff are not very professional in the way they act and are lieing and making up false allegations as you have no proof of this alleged abbuse That took place, and also why would security team let me in in the first place and finally your security team were also letting people in under the age of 18 as well which I know for a fact due to knowing how old the people were. So I would like to hear back from one of your manager as I would like to take...
Read moreThe Full House - JD Wetherspoon offered a unique dining experience within the walls of an adapted old theater, and the ambiance was nothing short of fascinating. Stepping into the converted space, one could feel the historical charm blended seamlessly with the modern Wetherspoon's setting.
While I was initially disappointed to learn that they didn't have any pizza available at the time, my disappointment quickly turned into excitement as we decided to try their small plates selection instead. And boy, was it a delightful surprise!
The variety of small plates on offer was impressive, and we couldn't resist ordering six different ones to share among our group. Each dish was bursting with flavor and skillfully prepared. From the crispy calamari to the succulent chicken wings, and the flavorful nachos to the mouthwatering sliders, every bite was a treat for our taste buds.
The service was commendably fast, ensuring we didn't have to wait long to savor our delicious selections. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
One minor aspect that I noticed was the occasional noise level, which might have been due to the restaurant's layout in the converted theater. Nevertheless, it didn't detract significantly from our overall dining experience.
The Full House - JD Wetherspoon certainly proved its worth with its excellent small plates offering and efficient service. I would love to return and explore more of their menu in the future, hoping to find some delicious pizza on the list as well. If you're looking for a place with character and scrumptious food, this Wetherspoon's location is...
Read moreMy experience in this pub was awful, as soon as myself and my family walked in we felt immediately uncomfortable. One of the colleagues was very rude and unwelcoming to us I donât know if she was having a bad day or just didnât like the look of us but we was very polite when we walked in. Then she went on to have ago at my Nan for vaping once which she understood and apologised then the same woman felt the need to come back once again with to doormen to then tell her the same thing when the vape didnât come out since she apologised my nan is old and very easily intimidated so this did not make her feel welcome at all! Later on in the night my uncle was kicked out of the pub for rude behaviour which is completely understandable however Stephane I believe her name is went on the blame my Sister just because she works at another weatherspoons going on to say something along the lines of âif I had this family I wouldnât bring them to the place I workâ which was extremely unnecessary and my sister has no say in what other people do and it was not her actions this behaviour from staff is disgusting. I did end up speaking to the manager about this which then he apologised but this is not good enough compared to the horrible experience we had. We are just a normal family who went out to celebrate my motherâs birthday and the treatment we received was not up...
