Aroma — Restaurant in Doncaster

I ordered Chicken and pineapple and Chicken and Mushrooms and Egg fried rice. Shockling bad. Firstly he didn't listen to my order request. Then charged me for rice which was watery and bland and barely warm I only live 300 yards away. Chicken was far too bland and dry even in sauces. Chicken and pineapple, where was the pineapple? Last time I went was about a year ago as it was terrible then. Need better catering staff. Had to warm up rice in microwave. This used to be a fantastic place unfortunately since it was bought just before pandemic gone massively down hill. The owners lack the passion of cooking, price is ok if the quality was there hence, gave to dog who snubbed her nose from it. I am hoping it was chicken they gave me. Hands down the best Chinese in the whole of Doncaster! trust me! i like my Chinese food and have tried plenty in and around Doncaster and Aroma keeps coming out on top! The quality of the food is beautiful and the staff are so friendly along with delivery driver! I wouldnt go anywhere else for our Chinese. They offer plenty of proper vegeterian dishes (Rather than just fried vegtables like most other chinese takeaways!) our favourite is the fried beancurd in blackbean sauce (with added cashew nuts :)) I refused to go elsewhere during the lockdown as I knew nothing would even come...

Updating this in 2021. Been using this takeaway for 6 years and I’m still as impressed now as I was back then. The price is very reasonable, staff are great, deliveries are on time and the food is not only amazing With large portions, but the ingredients are better quality than anywhere else. (No cubes of spam passing off as pork here).
