As much as I love this place (it used to be the best place in town), the quality of staff has drastically gone downhill in recent months. The guy with glasses and short beard has got to be the worst barman I have ever seen. I paid pretty much a fiver each for two pints, both of which were flat and couldn't keep a head for more than a minute. When I asked for a fresh glass, he passed me one which was still warm (red flag). When I specified I wanted a cold glass so my drink could actually be half decent, he rinsed the warm glass under a tap, meaning any beer gets watered down. How he gets a job in any bar is beyond me, he is absolutely clueless, avoid being served by him...
