When a close friend recommended Da Leo’s Restaurant for our civil wedding celebration, I had high expectations, and I’m thrilled to say they were not just met—they were exceeded. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was the perfect choice for our special day.

The hospitality at Da Leo’s is second to none. From the warm welcome to the attentive service throughout the evening, the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Special thanks are in order for Sultan, Cosmin, and Razvan, whose professionalism and friendliness made all the difference. And of course, a heartfelt thank you to the owner, Leo, whose personal touch added a special warmth to our celebration.

The food was nothing short of amazing. Each dish was beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and met with praise from all our guests. The variety and quality of the menu ensured that everyone had something to enjoy, and the culinary experience was truly memorable.

Stunning Italian restaurant, in the city centre of Doncaster.

Yes, a lot of places have pizza shops, and some places have pasta restaurants. But Da Leo is a genuine Italian Restaurant, offering a full menu of genuine cuisine of outstanding quality. An unusual layout given the corner plot location, this makes Da Leo a cosy-feeling dining experience yet easily accommodates family groups.

The staff are welcome and friendly, as can be expected from a true family Italian restaurant. This was exemplified when staff paid special attention to the little ones in our party, paying compliments and offering to show them dishes they were interested in. A lovely experience that made us feel even more at home in this restaurant.

Each dish is a generous portion of delicious cuisine, which means you don’t need to eat much during the day before going! You’ll be absolutely stuffed by the time you leave, but thankfully comfortably so, as staff well pace the courses so you don’t get overfaced.

Fabulous evening with a fabulous family in a beautiful restaurant. Every bit of the food was delicious! It was a feast for all. Had the seafood linguine, and it was 👌best I have ever eaten. As a table of 10, we had a mixture of mains, and each of them were banging. T-Bone steak and sirloin were cooked to perfection, all pasta dishes were beautiful, the mixed grill was massive, and served on top of big garlic flat bread. Calzones were massive and delicious, and the lamb shanks were melt in your mouth yummy. The deserts were out of this world. My husband had a special Pistachio parfait mouse with a melted chocolate side which the manager advised was a traditional Italian desert, he was advised to pour the melted chocolate over the top and said it was just wow and defo up there as one of the best deserts he has ever eaten. Pear cheese cake was delicious 10/10! Leo, the head chef and owner of the restaurant, was about all night speaking with customers and making everyone feel welcome, which was really nice.
