Refused to offer any kind of recognition of having served serving foul-tasting beer. The black-haired woman bartender was unyielding in her view that nothing could be done about a horrible tasting glass of beer which, according to her, was β€œfine”. It should be noted that I would never raise this sort of issue unless I were absolutely certain of a problem. I was not concerned about any possibility of a refund - I merely sought recognition that there was a problem. It tasted so radically different from the canned and poured versions I have experienced before - including locally to the brewery - that I was compelled to return the drink. The response was unsatisfactory. I was told β€œwe offer tasters”. The implication being, I presume, that it is the responsibility of customers to sample drinks prior to purchase, in order to ensure that they have not been adulterated beyond recognition. A poor response to a complaint. I would suggest that the marginal cost to the business of addressing the problem with any semblance of customer care would have less impact than the bad will created by the refusal to...

One of the best real ale and craft beer pubs in Doncaster town centre. 5 rotating cask ales, plus an amazing wall of 10 changing craft beers. Brilliant staff who are very knowledgeable about beer and extremely friendly. Live music at weekends, awesome open mic night most Wednesdays, brilliant pub quiz every Thursday and a monthly Punk Session on the last Sunday of the month. And now they have a monthly comedy night on the 1st Wednesday of every month, this place gets...

Wide draft beer selection which is commendable. Usually worth a visit to see what is on. Prices on Craft beer are a bit expensive compared to places in Leeds/Sheffield which feels like a mug-off. Never had a bad pint here though so it seems to be well looked after. Staff all nice enough.

The decor is a bit full on for me. Not that fussed about a theme, just want a decent drink. Some of the seating is quite uncomfortable which might have warranted...

Came here with my Dancing Queen Madge. Four pit stops in 50 metres. Almost walked by before Madge told me it is in the CAMRA 2023 Goid Beer Guide. Found a new brewery so took a Docks brewery 3.9% pale ale. Not really a place for old gits like me..young..dark and on trend..but fine on a quiet Saturday afternoon in August. Some outside seating saved Madge from some loud and strange music..young rainbow'ish noise. What happened to Motown!

When you first walk in, there is a bit of an odor, as if everything has been bleached to bits. That said, it dissipates as you spend more time in there and to be fair, it's super clean, great lighting, cool decor, decent beer and booze, and easy to hang out in. I'll be going again and again!

Was looking for somewhere chilled, with a good atmosphere on a Saturday night(bank holiday weekend). It didn't disappoint. Really friendly staff, good vibes and fantastic selection of craft beer! Great blues band playing too! Thanks πŸ˜€ (didn't have food, on a liquid diet πŸ˜‰)
