The Masons Arms, located conveniently next to Doncaster Market, is a welcoming spot that’s perfect for a relaxed meal or drink. The friendly guy at the bar adds to the warm atmosphere, always ready with a smile and happy to chat, which makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. One of the standout dishes here is the crispy salted naked pork. As a Romanian, I can say this is a delicious choice that really hits the spot. It’s perfectly seasoned, with a crunch that’s incredibly satisfying. Pairing it with a cold lager is the way to go—it complements the flavours beautifully and makes for a truly enjoyable experience. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick bite or just want to unwind with a good drink, The Masons Arms has you covered. The combination of friendly service, tasty food, and a relaxed vibe makes it a great spot to visit whenever you’re in the area. I’ll definitely be stopping by again!

Sorry but this place is really disappointing we were walk ins for Sunday lunch asked a member of staff if they did Sunday to av a reply “yes, it’s amazing” so we ordered beef Sunday lunch for two people and two lemonade, one with blackcurrant. We waited 50 minutes and expected an amazing large Sunday lunch for the time it took to be prepared but when it arrived it was disappointing the Yorkshire pudding was Obvs shop bought the lunch was nothing out of the ordinary for the price cost £32.50 shocking really we won’t be returning at all - we sat outside in the courtyard which could have been made more cleaner tables wiped down and swept floors instead it stunk of a blocked up drain which I only spotted as we had finished eating, I ate it all because I was hungry

A good traditional pub on the market with Cask Marque. Madge chose an Ilkley Blond. ( not on top form..probably near barrel bottom..always a curse of real ale) Lovely interior. Front bar busy with England v Columbia ladies QF ( England just won). Back room showing boring boring Arsenal empty. Nice room..rear beer courtyard...see The Rum Rooms...a West Indian bar...shared space / business. Food menu looks fab-u-lous.

Had a great time with the dj playing and great reggae tunes banging but sadly the biggest regret was the pub. I will start with the price, over paid bottles of wine minimum price ÂŁ13.00 then for spirits about ÂŁ4.50 pints are maybe more so best stick to half pints since their about ÂŁ3.00.

Layout. I loved what he did with the street urban look but sadly statues and barrel chairs and other things was broken or forced into a corner not making use of space. Garden isn't a place to dance in once a event takes place leaving people next to doors dancing making it difficult for yu to get through I will also point out pointless seats that isn't needed or couldn't use.

Front of house Nothing to moan about lol apart from the small space but can't be helped with old buildings.

Rear of house Small bar, cramped when busy toilets discusting and not clean (but normal for night out anyway)

Security None at all everyone for them self's spice head was threatening my family I ask for help from staff or call security they was ignorant and turned heads big event and no security was present for the pub or other neighbouring ones either

Not...
