Brenda’s Kitchen is an absolute gem of a local café in Dover! The menu is truly extensive, with something for everyone – from classic breakfasts to hearty lunches and lighter bites. Their range of breakfasts is unbeatable, featuring the Big Breakfast, Super Breakfast, and the Mega Breakfast – and at only £8.50, the Mega Breakfast is an incredible bargain for the quality and portion size.
They also cater brilliantly for vegetarians with a dedicated menu, and there’s a fantastic selection of combined meals, toasts, omelettes, burgers, jacket potatoes, baguettes, and sandwiches on offer. I had the ham and cheese salad sandwich on crusty bread, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best I’ve had anywhere in the UK. Perfectly fresh, generously filled, and absolutely delicious.
The coffee was excellent, the service warm and attentive, and the whole atmosphere welcoming. It’s clear that pride is taken not only in the food but also in the presentation and hygiene. The café has consistently held a Food Hygiene Rating of 5 every year since it opened, which really speaks volumes about the standards here.
All in all, this is far more than your average café – it’s a brilliant spot for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, with unbeatable value and quality. Highly recommended to locals and...

Real shame as I thought he would like the custom as the...

The seating area is clean and tidy in this busy business. We were served by a lovely waitress, in fact every time we visit everyone who's working are very polite and friendly. Really worth a visit.
