We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, cheerful, and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious – full of flavor and beautifully presented. We asked our server for recommendations for both vegetarian and chicken dishes, and they gave us excellent suggestions that turned out to be just perfect. Everything we tried was spot on!

What made the experience even better was the service. Our server was incredibly kind, joyful, and attentive. They made us feel right at home with their friendly attitude and really enhanced the whole dining experience. It’s rare to come across someone who clearly enjoys their job and goes the extra mile to make guests feel special.

I’ve been using this pub for the past couple of years and I’ve always enjoyed every visit. Most recently again for lunch with a friend and it was a third off burgers. I had the Ellie burger which is always delicious and huge. Kim served us and was polite and welcoming as always. Nothing is ever too much trouble for her and she happily helped us with drinks and ordering the food. I’d highly recommend a visit not just for the great food but they also have a great list of cocktails along with the usual drinks you’d find in any good pub. They have the added bonus of live music and various events throughout the week, most of the year round if not all year round ! It’s definitely one of my favourite places to go and I even don’t mind going alone as a single female as I have never once felt unsafe here and I know if I have had any issues they are always addressed immediately. We had such a brilliant experience at The Elephant and Hind in Dover. We ordered fish and chips, a burger, and a few small plates – the wings, whitebait, and chorizo bites were all packed with flavour and cooked perfectly. The fish was crisp and fresh, and the burger hit the spot – proper comfort food done really well.

Mufti, who looked after us, was fantastic – warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. It makes such a difference when the service is that good.

The drinks selection was also impressive – a great mix of traditional and modern cocktails, plus a wide range of beers and ciders on draught. The atmosphere was lively but laid-back, the kind of place you can settle into and really enjoy.
