Ordered pizza to be delivered for four people. We are regular customers and this time Dominos failed totally to deliver a positive customer experience.
We waited for over an hour and when it appeared that the order was 4 minutes away from delivery, the driver appeared to be going away from our house. We called to enquire what was happening? We were told that we would be called back and waited a further 20 miniutes to be told that our order could not be delivered. No reason was given but we were given 3 options. Order another day and not have to pay. (We had already paid, so were being offered no compensation there) alternatively, we could order fresh pizzas but could be waiting a further hour or more. It was already 8pm! Lastly, we could have a refund. We said that if they could bake us fresh pizza, we would collect it. Dominos agreed and said it would be 20 minutes to cook. When i collected the pizza, I asked if it was a fresh order and was assured that it had just been cooked. Sorry to state that this was a lie! Our order was clearly the one that had been prepared an hour and a half earlier. We will seriously consider whether to use Dominos again. It is not an inexpensive takeaway and we always generously tip the drivers. We understand that thngs sometimes go wrong. However, if a company has no respect for its customers and lies to them, you have to wonder why you would continue to give them your hard earned money. There are alternatives, after all. Very...

We got inside Doninos at 1908, so 2 minutes early. We wasn't acknowledged whatsoever for at least 10minutes, there was people who were waiting for their orders wishing us good luck at getting their attention. There was a child in the ahop that had to endure all the agression and foul language with his mother looking horrified, and she even offered to answer the phone to tell the caller that Dominos was too busy to take any orders. Obviously the staff refused. The phone was left constantly ringing with staff shouting and swearing at each other to ignore it, whilst also arguing with each other. After receiving our first acknowledgement (we were asked if someone else's order was ours) we then didn't get spoken to until our order was ready. Our experience was awful, with one guy slamming things on the floor and sides, another swearing at the ringing phone and about the fact that he had to do some work, and another guy making pizzas and continuing to swear because he made the wrong one. Our order was finally ready 30minutes after or collection time, with no apology or thanks for waiting. The food itself was nice, our only complaint is the chocolate, cinnamon dough balls tasted like there was no cinnamon present at all. Will not be returning to the Dover store for...
