We were desperate for a hot drink on a very wet&windy day, we popped in here and did enjoy a coffee that needed an awful lot of sugar (because of its bitter strength?) but I was extremely unhappy by the cleanliness of the place! Super friendly owner and staff always give the warmest welcome and make you feel like a valued customer. Good coffee and locally made cakes. Lots of atmosphere and positive vibes. Art by local artists on the walls (for sale) inside and tables across the road in the churchyard make it a great place to be no matter what the weather. If you are touring Sandwich there are almost always friendly locals inside happy to chat and share their inside knowledge on the town. If you are cycling through Sandwich it's the best place in town for a coffee and...

There is plenty of outdoor seating in the churchyard opposite for the sunny days, and you can order inside and they'll bring it out to you. We...
