We enjoyed our 2 attentive polite waiters, the italian music and the food we ate here overall, although a little on the pricy side. Nice prawns and pasta dishes. The garlic bread i thought could be improved to taste a bit nicer, very thin and a bit burnt in places. Our experience was tarnished as after our meal, people burst into the restaurant with a supplies delivery, let a cold draft in and noisily chatted whilst dumping off tins and tins of tomatoes etc on the table next to us. This man then proceeded to take our empty plates away! At least be a bit discreet with your deliveries to be curtious to your diners! and dont take our plates away if we've never seen you before, even if you own the place or work there, its wierd. Food was delicious. Reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and attentive, great sense of humour and very polite. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is due to the fact the restaurant is quite small, so due to it being busy it was difficult to hear my partner sometimes, who was sat opposite me. However, it is a Friday night, so this can be expected. Wasn’t a fan of the decor/lighting. Think the decor could be more authentic and maybe some warm lighting. Lovely owners and staff, seriously let down by the quality of food served. We have been to Italy many times and this did not replicate authentic cuisine.

All dishes were below average, bland served with/on unseasoned, undressed shredded iceberg lettuce. Compare this to Luigi’s just round the corner, a rocket salad with olive oil, balsamic glaze toasted pine nuts and parmigiana shavings.

I don’t think I have been to an Italian restaurant where we have not been offered fresh black pepper or Parmesan as the food is served. It is these small offerings that make up the experience of dining out.

We are local and would not return, a shame as the location is good.
