Absolutely fabulous! A wonderful breakfast, excellent quality ingredients-probably one of the best breakfasts I have had. Really generous portions and nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. It was a great buzzy atmosphere and really busy, so book ahead! It’s amazing that some people are so rude to staff. A couple were told they would have to wait around 10 minutes for a table, and rudely told the staff “well it better be 10 minutes”. I’m not quite sure how staff are supposed to predict when customers leave. Come on people, think about the human you are speaking to and whether you would like to be spoken to in the same manner! The staff here were all fabulous! :)

We stopped here for the first time for a drink and bite to eat. The Menu is very extensive with interesting items such as pulled pork Benedict and Halloumi & avocado toast. I had the eggs royale and it was perfect. In many other places I have found the egg to be cold and yolk hard, but here it was freshly prepared and it makes the world of difference. The man serving us couldn’t have been nicer, he was really chatty and welcoming. There is a lovely atmosphere here and the free WiFi is great. I would definitely recommend coming here and will be returning!

An excellent place for breakfast - and probably all other times too! A friendly welcome at the door, good Covid-19 compliance and an excellent menu containing a great range of offerings. The food is very well cooked and presented. It is not bulk catering food but locally sourced artisanal fresh food. We chose avocado and halloumi on toast and a gosling breakfast augmented with black pudding. The filter coffee is great. Great vibe and décor. Free parking for an hour on the street outside. Free WiFi. A first class establishment. Well done Ali.

Absolutely outstanding breakfast.. Full English was delicious. My photo shows a modified one as I swapped out the beans and hash browns for extra bacon. Bacon is the best ever. Turns out its sourced locally. Ambience is great. Decor is cosmopolitan. Loos are clean and smartly decorated. WiFi is free and solid fast signal. Let’s not forget the staff who are friendly, efficient and attentive. Parking is available opposite free! Early birds need to be there on opening as places fill swiftly.

Excellent Veggie (customisable) breakfast, cooked well and fresh, with generous portions and a nice selection of items. Gluten free and Vegan friendly, kid friendly, pets allowed, inclusive seating- what more can you ask for? Excellent service is part of the Deal (literally!) and the coffee is to die for. Definitely recommend and the best part is that they are one of the few places open early by 8am if you’re doing an early morning walk.

I went to the Goose On The Green on a Thursday for a late breakfast. The staff were extremely welcoming and kind, I arrived by myself later to be joined by my brother. Once I ordered at the till my coffee came out which was lovely and hot, not soon after, my food arrived which was delicious. I had a lovely time sitting in the window seat and look forward to returning soon for another wonderful meal.
