This was a smashing, little place to eat. It's only a small place looking out across the green and the water. We were staying a few miles away that didn't serve breakfast, in fact, they weren't offering any food whatsoever. We heard about this place from a local lady about a mile up the road from Goose on the Green. The food was freshly made, good value too. The young girls that were waiting on were very pleasant, and the service was good despite them being rather busy. Parking was easy, it was all along the front right there on the road, so you only had a few steps to walk. If ever we were in this area again, we would definitely go and eat there. Read moreI was really happy to stumble upon this quaint little cafe on the sea front whilst searching for somewhere to have a coffee and breakfast... The vegan breakfast was AMAZING! Possibly the best I've ever had.
Sadly the experience was dampened somewhat by the less than warm welcome...
As someone who is exempt from wearing a mask, I have no issues with being asked and am happy to produce my exemption card but I've never had the response "that's ok, you can cover your face with your top" before!!!
