Middle Street is a little like the Harry Potter Platform 9¾, but once found, the restaurant is a delight.
It's pretty small, with only 6-7 tables around the back of the take-away, the queue for which was spilling onto the street when we arrived..! We were promptly seated so I don't know if one can book a table.
Certainly can't fault the menu, food or the excellent service. It's cash-only but two full plates and a couple of (decent) glasses of (decent) house red saw change from £30. Can't/won't complain about that.
If you're in the area, do make the effort to check this place out. I think that you'll find it...

The taste was also fantastic succulent cod and crispy chips. I would definitely go there again.
Only one disappointment, no lemon to squeeze on my cod, I put that down to me not asking, otherwise just perfect.
You can park your car next door to Astor Community Theatre. 3...

Another customer even took the time to come out and tell us how rude the they had been to us and I’m grateful as I’m not someone who usually would post such a negative review but feel very upset by how myself and my family...
