Popped into Real Deal Roasters as a classic DFL (Down From London), fully expecting polite suspicion. Instead? Warm smiles, great chat, and coffee so good I nearly wept into the cup (which, by the way, was perfectly chunky and satisfying to hold).
Run by two lovely girls who radiate good vibes, this place serves sausage rolls worthy of a national holiday and cookies that should probably come with a warning: “May cause joy.”
Service? Impeccable. Atmosphere? Cosy without trying too hard. I came for a coffee and left with a full heart, flaky crumbs on my jacket, and a strong urge to move in.
Real deal, indeed. 10/10...
