Booked the day before for lunch/brunch for a group of 13. Were seated at the round table at the window with an additional table attached to fit comfortably at 1130. We asked if it was possible to order from breakfast and lunch. They confirmed that we could promptly. After being informed the food was running about 30 minutes late, we carried on with our orders. The Manager personally spoke to the us at the table saying apologies for the delay. All were offered complimentary alcoholic drinks to which we agreed soft drinks. On one breakfast, it was a bit shy on the baked beans. Speaking to the manager, they quickly rectified this. A few minutes later a small pot/ramekin was served. I personally had the breakfast. For £5 I couldn't complain at all. The picture included has a bit extra as someone didn't have the same appetite as myself. It was well presented and tasted great. The lamb burger was beautiful and the 30 chicken wings were also ones to note for next time.
Overall this establishment is very good. It has a well rounded decor, ambience and smiling staff. As for the review below (who only has 3 Google reviews entirely) I think with just 3 days into serving food, bad reviews are possibly slightly premature. I believe Queen Street Tap has lots of potential for Deal and definitely a cut above the chain run establishment just down the road. Fully recommended and...

All flash and no substance would be the best way to describe this regeneration.
Despite touting a range of craft ales on their promotional materials the selection was limited to the set menu of bottled beers, and the usual selection of lagers served on a bar sticky with spillages.
The food is acceptable, but nothing that stands out from the crowd.
In all the Queen Street Tap seems like an attempt to imitate Wetherspoons, but pulled off clumsily. Like a toddler attempting to wear their parent's work clothes.
EDIT AFTER A WHILE OF TRADING:
The Tap made an impressive turnaround in its two years of trading before the world ground to a halt, most notably was their expansion of the craft beers and their food menu.
They now boast a formidable selection of locally brewed ales and ciders, catering to most preferences and sold right alongside their previously mentioned lineup of the usual Pub Beers.
Their food menu has underwent a few revisions, and while not being as good as it once was, Rest In Peace "Ultimate Burger", it effortlessly tops the local competition.
I cannot praise the care that has gone into reversing the less than impressive first impression that The Tap has made. I can only hope that they are able to...
Read moreThis place should not provide accommodation for people unless they are up all night clubbing. If you are just visiting & hoping for some sleep it's a waste of money we were informed of loud noise until 2.30am upon arrival but was then too late to find an alternative. (Was in small print right at bottom of booking page so didn't see or else we would NOT have booked!) Thought surely can't be that bad as why would they expect you to put up with loud noise when you paid for a room? WRONG! Was like sleeping in a nightclub till 2.30am then loud shouting outside for another hour as people left. Then cleaning started at 6am Hoover's, tables & chairs being moved about. No sleep! On top of that the room was very shabby. Stains on carpet, walls, cushions, bathroom was dirty, didn't even bother with shower as looked horrible. Crack in the sink, taps didn't work properly (when turned water shoots out & soaks you then it's hard to switch them back off!) No draws for storage or hair dryer. We feel we were conned out of £60 & had no choice but to like it or lump it. AVIOD THIS PLACE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO RUIN YOUR STAY IN DEAL!! Absolutely horrible...
