AMAZING!!!! In a word. We stayed in Dover for a couple of days, after our cruise, at a hotel down the street on Ladywell, and needed a place to eat breakfast. I googled Dover and there weren't a lot of fresh options near us. Well, this was right around the corner, opened at 8 am, and had a high review rating, so we decided to try it The owner, Sharon, was marvelous and charming. Not only was she personable but very knowledgeable about the area. She made the best cup of FRESHLY GROUND US style coffee I've ever had in Europe. My wife had breakfast tea with her own personal pot. I wasn't sure what to order because I wasn't "gung ho" about having baked beans with breakfast so I saw a sign on the table that offered corned beef hash, which is my favorite meat breakfast including steak and eggs. Sharon warned me it was a big meal and I said " Bring it on!" Boy, she was right (see pics). The corned beef hash was in a word GOURMET. It was served with home style potatoes, onions, fried eggs and bacon. Delicious and perfectly cooked. Sharon made our breakfast so relaxing and inviting that I hoped we'd get another shot at visiting before we left the next day but we had an early train ticket. Because we enjoyed our experience the day before, we made sure to stop by, have my delicious coffee and try the traditional English breakfast "burrito" she was going to make for me, if I returned. A new staff group was there the next day and I thought "oh great maybe things won't be as good" but actually Sharon had mentioned our visit to the gentleman running the cafe the next day which I consider 5 Star Service anywhere in the world. Thank you so much for your amazing food and company and hopefully we'll have the opportunity to return in the future to partake in the best breakfast...

Food Weren't the best, All round Very cheap food and oil needs changing. coffee weren't all that either.

Service was very basic from start to finish. Food orders were being handed out but other food from other dishes were stuck to the bottom of the plate. Got told after are hands were already on the plate, the plates are hot when they were only room warm. No check back. l asked for my left overs to be boxed up. The plate was dropped back on the table and the staff member stormed off without saying anything. 5 minutes later a box was just put on the table and again walked off.

It did look clean and tidy but I would say a smile from staff would be nice but I didn't see one during the visit. I don't want the American over the top experience, but with to many staff, it seemed non off them wanted to...

What a gem. Sometimes there's those places that you don't want to review because you want it to yourself...this is one. Lovely to sit out in the conservatory area and such a bonus that nobody is smoking or vaping out there. Food portions and choices are great and I especially liked the refillable builders tea! They do a 'free drink for a 5 star review' thing. I would recommend scrapping this as it really doesn't need it...the place is worth a 5 star so be confident in yourselves. I didn't scan because..well...it's excellent and you deserve a great review. Staff are attentive and friendly, even though they're rushed off their feet.

One of the best places in Dover.

Highly recommended and I'll definitely...

Easily five stars from myself. The staff are easy going and polite. The food is top notch not like other places in the area, yes it is a bit on the pricey side however the food is tasty and fresh. I’ve changed from going to my old cafe and go here instead now. It’s on a main road so if you drive your have to park around the corner on Effingham Crescent. I am not sure about wheelchair friendly as I didn’t notice but I am sure you can get in there with a wheelchair as I’ve seen people in there with their prams and push chairs. Depending on what time you visit it can be pretty busy and I’ve witnessed people having to wait as it is pretty popular amongst the locals.
