A brilliant well run Black Country Ales Pub. This is a great example of how the smaller pub should be ran.
It has a choice of cobs, pies as well as crisps.
Cobs are excellent well filled of cheese and onion, ham salad cheese and ham as well as cheese salad sauces ae available too.
Coffee is available.
There are always a great choice of Ales available and you can expect upto 11 Ales on tap. Including at least 3 Black Country Ales and upto 9 guest ales.
There are usually 5 Ciders on tap too ranging from 4% to in excess of 7.5%.
Guinness and Lagers as well as your usual spirits etc available.
Air con inside and a large garden out the back. With a separate smoking area.
Darts board as well as Sky Sports showing.
Plenty of places to sit. Super friendly staff as well as locals.
Rich is very happy to bring your drinks over once ordered and they have settled a really great touch and a top bloke too.
An absolutely brilliant place to visit everything a great local pub should be.

Read moreIt's a great pub. It's quite busy. They serve food. I only went for drinks. Not a great deal of parking. But you can park on the road. It has a disabled entrance. It's bigger than it looks. My problem was that theirs a female barmaid, I think she thinks she's the boss, boss the customers, very ill mannered and rude. Refused us shots, we are not teenagers? Not even drunk? Next time, I will address this matter. However, she wasn't spoiling our fun. So if it wasn't for her, I'd of said 4, as I've not eaten there. You will no doubt know her, if she's working. Staff like this, cause, customers from drinking there. I won't rush back and there was 30 of us?..... Sack the moody female, I'm sure you know who it is, as the other staff are lovely. Read moreVisited during my wife’s birthday. There was only one area we could sit. Good staff and pub sadly ruined when three locals started talking openly setting alsatians on our rescue dogs when they barked, continuing to openly complain about the dogs for half an hour. As we left, we explained they were rehomed only to get further abuse including insinuations about drowning them. This is supposed to be a dog friendly pub. Horrible atmosphere, left without finishing our pints.. To be fair the landlord, a dog owner himself, did offer us alternative seats, however, at this point the damage had been done after half an hour of listening to these deliberately...
