Costa Coffee — Restaurant in East Devon

This store is very spacious, the staff have always been friendly to me, but the coffee and food are absolutely revolting. I've tried a frappe, a white mocha, and a hot chocolate, and all of them tasted worse then vending machine coffee. The breakfast wrap was not heated properly and tasted disgusting. £5 for the wrap and £5 for a revolting coffee. I've gone into Costa recently as Cafe Nero keep changing their opening times and now don't even open when they are supposed to.

On a positive note, I'd like to commend the young lady who was forced to work alone on a Sunday (29/12/2024) morning with a queue to the door. She was extremely polite and was going as fast as she could. Manager/owner- sort your act out and do not leave staff alone to contend with an overwhelming amount...

I visited the exmouth shop today as was disappointed about the service I recieved my coffee was cold I took it back to the counter where the member of staff told me in front of lots of people it was hot I then said it is cold he,then put the temperature gauge in the coffee and said see it's hot he made such a fuss out of it and made me feel quite embarrassed that I was ac ually complaining he then proceeded to make me a fresh one I sat ba k down the girl named missy on her name badge,brought it to the table and slammed it down on the table not making any remark at all very rude I do not e pe t topurchace coffee and cake in costa to be treated like that very...

It's OK but very open table layout does not offer much privacy for customers and it is not very cosy inside. Did not enjoy working here on my laptop. Better for quick coffee stops.

The coffee was typical but they did not make it as hot I would have liked when asking for extra hot and I was met by some resistance for turning up the temperature which I do not typically experience at other Costas. I had to go back to request my Soya Latte...
