A great restaurant near to the tramway station in Seaton. No alcohol served here but you can bring your own. This wasn't a problem for me. Great selection on the menu, reasonably priced. Great service too, very friendly. I had the garlic chicken which was delicious. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area. Highly recommend. Thank you.

Table for two book tonight. What can I say we had a starter to share and the taste and Flavours were on point. Then the mains came out and that was it. Completely fresh and very tasty Indian food. You know when you had a good meal when you can actually finish your dish and still want more thank you 👌

Went on 'Banquet Night' and pleased with the quality of food, was quite busy for a Tuesday. They only serve soft drink but you can bring your own in! Personally found the pilau rice very bland, but everything else spot on

We visited Monsoon on a very quiet Tuesday evening. Each section is scored from 1 low - 5 high.

Booking - 5 - We were pleased with the booking process and received a call immediately back to confirm as I booked on line.

Arrival- 4- On arrival we were greated by welcoming staff, who took us to our table. We ordered the special offer banquet. £10.95 in a popadom, a choice of one select main dish, rice and naan bread. We also opted for a plater starter to share.

Food…..

Popadoms - 1 - were preprapared and unfortunately not the best, the dip selection had little flavour.

Starter- 4 - was much better. The food was hot on arrival and had good flavours. The meats were cooked well and the lamb was tender. The dip tray was left to accompany the starters.

Main course- 4 - the plates came out first and were very hot. The food arrived promptly, both dishes were served hot and were well flavoured. The portion size was generous.

Naans - 5 - were very fresh,

Rice - 3 - was OK, mushrooms in mushroom rice, seemed a bit watery the keema was OK, but could of been a little tastier.

Staff- 4- Throughout the meal the staff checked to see if the food was satisfactory. Very polite and attentive.

Price - 4

Overall 3.7

I ordered food for delivery at 730 to be delivered at 945. When 955 came around and I called them, he man who answered the phone told me that he couldn’t get ahold of the driver and if I could pick it up. I informed him that I was only visiting and didn’t have a car. Another hour passed and he called me back and told me that he still couldn’t get ahold of thriver and asked if could just heat food up in the microwave when I get it and he’d give me a discount on a later date since I had already paid. I again informed that that I don’t live here . So 1. I don’t have a microwave in my hotel. And 2. I will not be returning to the area. Not once was getting my money back ever an option. Finally at 11:15, I got a call saying my food was outside. The guy on the phone tried telling me the driver had been in an accident. Which, if he was, I hope he’s ok. But then why didn’t they just cancel my order and give me a refund? On top of that, my order was...

Great Informal Dining.

We enjoyed chicken pakora, chicken momo, Sali Lamb, Chicken Sylhet with a keema naan and mushroom and garlic rice.

The food was tasty and there was loads of it. As it was a Friday night it was doing a roaring trade in deliveries. The kitchen team came out to chat in their jeans and polo shirts and it made for a relaxing, casual .

A great place to experience a more 'homestyle/cafe style of food. If you're the kind of person who knows what a particular curry 'must' taste like then maybe its not for you (pakoras came in breadcrumbs rather than the expected batter and the momos were similar to puris than dumplings) but if you like the occasional difference from the standard blah many places churn out then Monsoon is highly recommended.

Don't forget they do not sell wine or beer -...
