I’ve had the pleasure of dining at Ragini’s many times, and each visit leaves me more impressed than the last. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere is warm, inviting, and full of character. The service is exceptional – the staff is always friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making your experience unforgettable.

The food is, without a doubt, the star of the show. Each dish is bursting with flavor, perfectly presented, and crafted with the finest ingredients. Whether I’m indulging in their signature curries or trying something new from the specials, I’m always delighted by the balance of spices and the complexity of the flavors. The consistency is remarkable – I’ve never had a meal here that didn’t exceed my expectations.

I wholeheartedly recommend for all adult tourists to visit the restaurant "Ragini" in the small town Seaton, in the county Devon, UK! We visited Seaton on 4th of April 2024. After a good walk along the coast, we got hungry and returned to have dinner at our Primer Inn hotel, but the restaurant wasn't working for some technical reasons. So, the time was 8.30 pm, my husband and I were very hungry, but all pubs and supermarkets around were closed (Sunday!) We were walking to find any place for any food! Fortunately, we saw a big sideboard with tiger and name "Ragini" - the restaurant! It was our salvation! We went inside and were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere: a very elegant design in etno style, delicious smells of food, pleasant music. It was the Bengali restaurant! We ordered Vegetable thali and Chicken thali (each costs £18). My husband ordered a glass of wine, and I chose a Cobra beer. A very beautiful serving of the dish! Very tasty food and large portions! The staff is very pleasant and friendly - only relatives work. They all are happy to communicate with visitors, answer at all their questions, talk about national kitchen and even share cooking recipes with some visitors (😊with me)! 👏Now I know how to cook Ladies fingers 🥳🤣 This restaurant receives various awards every year! После прогулки по побережью мы проголодались и вернулись поужинать в наш отель Primer Inn, но ресторан не работал по каким-то техническим причинам. Итак, время 20.30 вечера, мы с мужем голодные, все пабы и супермаркеты закрыты (воскресенье !) Прогуливаясь в поисках еды, мы увиделииеа улице большую вывеску с тигром и светящееся название "Ragini". Это было наше спасение! Мы зашли внутрь и были приятно удивлены обстановкой: очень элегантный дизайн помещения, вкуснейшие запахи еды, приятная музыка. Как оказалось, это был ресторан бенгальской кухни! Мы заказали Vegetable thali и Chicken thali (каждое стоит £18). Муж заказал себе бокал вина, а я выбрала пиво "Cobra". Очень красивая подача блюда! Очень вкусная еда и большие порции! Очень приятный и дружелюбный персонал - работают только родственники. Они все очень дружелюбные, с удовольствием общаются с посетителями, отвечают на все их вопросы, рассказывают о своей национальной кухне, и даже делятся с некоторыми посетителями (😊со мной) рецептами приготовления! 👏Теперь я знаю, как готовить Ladies fingers 🥳🤣 Этот ресторан ежегодно получает различные награды! Heads up Ragini does not serve alcohol but you are welcome to bring you own with no corkage charges! They even put someone's beer in the fridge for one customer. We were recommended Ragini by a friend of a friend. We agree! The food is Bengali in origin as well as the usual Indian takeaway offerings. I'm glad to say that there was not a sighting of frozen mixed veg! All ingredients were fresh and the meals we chose were excellent in flavour. There were unusually 3 thali dishes on offer, the third (pictured) being £4 more with meat and veg dishes including a lassi and naan bread. Many dishes are made with chicken thigh instead of breast and you are not disappointed in flavour of both. Service was fantastic, you can tell it matters to the staff and owners.
