Turns out that this is an old school pub with more emphasis on drink and less on food than we had anticipated. Adrian was ever so friendly and helpful and, it turns out, that they were geared for diners. The menu was simple with lots of offerings, including a surprising number of veggie and vegan options. The nut roast came with chips and salad and was surprisingly good. Portions were adequate for me, a big eater, and large for my wife. Menu available is quite small, there seems to be more cake options than dinner, dinner is limited. They seem to be out of most things, including drink options. It's quite small indoors although the outside area is nice, staff aren't the best a customer service until you leave and despite the prices looking relatively decent on the menu the bill came in really rather high. Read moreWhat a great find! First off, the food (Scampi & Chips and Chicken Curry) was perfect. Service was friendly and got better the longer we were there. The tea and pint were perfect - and I now have a new favorite beer in England. The space was neat with tons of outside seating. All of that made for a lovely experience that deserves a 5-star.
