This is without a doubt one of the best burgers I have ever had. Perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, perfect toppings ratio, fresh tasting, moreish and just brilliant. I've never been a smash burger fan, but oh good grief, this place has changed my mind and become my favourite burger place. I'm just blown away. I now have to cope with the reality of a seven hour round trip to get a burger.

But let's not forget the sides. Normally you order cheese fries or loaded fries and they will give you fries with some stuff on the top, but not here. Here they mix it all in, so their dirty fries are truly dirty, their filthy dirty ones are dripping with flavour from the first to the last mouthful.

Service is perfect. Polite, unassuming and friendly. They are happy to cope with polite requests such as extra patties (which are superb for hungrier patrons)

Decor is great, not too dark, not too light. Special mention to the sink in the toilets. Brilliant!

All in all, this is a gem of a burger joint. Next time we are in the area I am coming back....

Wow! Have you ever walked away from a place smiling your face off (under a mask 😂) because you just had such a nice experience? That's exactly what happened to me after picking up a takeaway from here. I was made to feel so welcome and at home from both the owner and the front of house staff, that I was literally refreshed by the experience. Even though I could only order for takeaway, i know that I want to come here for food and even just for drinks with friends after lockdown, there is such an awesome vibe and is just what Axminster needs more of. Cannot wait for it.

I'd never eaten here before and decided we'd try it out. We had two American burgers and fries (and oh my goodness you get so many gorgeous fries). The burgers tasted fantastic, had the lovely melted cheese and the fries were just right. We will absolutely be ordering again and I recommend it to anyone.

Ordered over the phone with a very polite member of the team and collected the food around 15 mins later. Couldn't really ask for more prompt service! The food was very hot too, even after the trip home so we definitely cooked nice and fresh.

The burgers (mushroom blue and garlic bacon) were outstanding, really tasty and filling. It's a shame we're not staying longer to be able to try more of the menu!

The dirty fries were great, a really nice strongly flavoured cheese sauce and lots of bacon bits. But be warned, the portion is huge - one portion could easily serve two people.

The only thing that let it down for me was the milkshake. I'd assumed (perhaps wrongly) that the milkshake would be a thick, ice cream based milkshake. Mine (banana) was just like simple milk with cream on top, nothing thick about it. Nice enough flavour, just disappointingly thin. Not enough to detract from a really good...
