Hertford Mangal Kebab — Restaurant in East Hertfordshire

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Eat here at your own risk! We ordered on Wednesday night, we both had a donner kebab. The bottom of the pitta bread was covered in green mould making our food inedible. The meat was inside the pitta bread therefore also inedible because it was touching the mouldy pitta bread. We complained via just eat but were refused a refund and refused new food. Eventually we were offered a £1.15 refund for a £30 order that we couldn’t eat because it was covered in green furry mould. We sent photos into just eat of the mouldy food. I can’t understand how you can pay £30 for food, have it sent to you with green MOULD on it, yet be refused a refund or to be sent fresh food. It should be illegal. I am still awaiting a resolution, I still want my money back. Also, we ate quite a lot of meat before we realised it was sat in mouldy pitta bread and felt incredibly unwell following this. If this restaurant is reading this, I still want a resolution you gave us mouldy food and have not refunded us. I am reporting you to trading standards and food standards agency. Maybe if you had refunded us we wouldn’t have felt we needed to take...

This is a place for the best Kebabs usually. Have used this place 5 or 6 times. Although, a shame as after ordering the special burger with beef and chicken. The chicken was off, it gave off a bad odour. We called and mentioned this to staff, they said that they would mention it to management and to mention it when we next ordered. Well today after a hard day's work we mentioned it as we ordered. Nothing was done so it was pointless to mention it. Then we ordered Kebabs and received them without the nice vegetables that usually are given as peppers, onions etc. Again, very disappointing that the quality of food can be so good, but service or dealing with issues are very poor. Suggestion: Check your delivery orders, as you will never be able to resolve any issues. Such a shame that not do person orientated, the customer does not appear...

Visiting here for work, very hungry after a long day and sat in Hotel room anticipating a nice meal as obviously everywhere is closed at the moment!

Seriously sort out your Just Eat app!!! I thought I was ordering a chicken shish kebab.. Turns out to be chicken and rice, arrived well late and was stone cold as was the "wrap". Halloumi was like rubber and I would seriously like to know what part of the Gourmet burger was Gourmet? Extremely disappointing!!!! Ended up eating some tinned soup I brought with me, thanks to Premier Inn for the use of their microwave!
