White Hart — Restaurant in East Hertfordshire

The White Hart really has been the heart of Euro 2024 for me, my family and friends. The atmosphere has been absolutely incredible!! Yesterday afternoon my 2 daughters, their friends and I were there to watch the quarter final between England and Switzerland and had the most memorable time. We are full of praise for Callie the bar manager, she was an absolute legend from the minute we got there until the minute we went home. Even with everything going on and being extremely busy! (I mean she was everywhere) She helped my daughter’s friend get in at the beginning of the game and also helped my second daughter and her friend get in towards the end of the game so that they could enjoy extra time and penalties. Typical bloke I wasn’t well equipped for the wet conditions and bless her Callie even went to the trouble of lending me her jacket to keep me dry. Callie clearly cares for the customers at the pub and you can see that she prioritises health and safety. As well as maintaining a safe capacity, at one point the wet conditions could have caused problems outside but Callie was on hand to put waterproof covers over anything dangerous. I look forward to visiting the White Hart again soon and really hope to see Callie again, thank you so much!! I would also like to mention and thank a young lady (Rose I think) behind the bar, service with a smile goes...

An absolute standout, and I can’t recommend it highly enough!! From the moment you walk in, you’re met with a warm, welcoming atmosphere from the staff.

What truly sets the White Hart apart is their focus on food – it’s clear this is one of their passions. This isn’t your average pub grub – I felt it was like restaurant quality and I would come here even just for the food. The flavours are incredible, the presentation is stunning and it just tastes fresh. Not to mention, the vegan/veggie options they have make me very happy.

The staff were brilliant too– friendly, attentive, and clearly proud of the experience they’re offering. A special mention for Libby who looked after us so well, she was incredibly helpful, personable and made the whole experience even better with her warm hospitality. It’s rare to find that kind of service these days - attentive and genuine!

They also have a games room with an interactive Darts game!

We had our wedding reception at the White Hart which unfortunately clashed with the England World Cup quarter final game.

We had no worries, the events manager Elle and the other staff made sure we were well catered for. She gave us two private areas for ourselves and our guests to celebrate, the food was delicious and she even provided a private drinks ordering service for us so we would not need to battle our way through hordes of football fans.

The outside area was beautifully decorated by the venue and we were also given access to the games room. As an added bonus our party was watched over from time to time by the very nice door staff, who made sure we were not disturbed.

A challenging day for the venue, but we were very well taken care of by Elle and the staff....
